  • @lightandbeautiful Have I missed something? How is this relevant? And what is this agenda you speak of?

  • it was okay, to short, would of liked to hear about the people who helped

  • (Esperanto) Tiu ĉi rakonto estas tre kortuŝa. Estas nekredebla kiom da personoj ekzistas, kiuj dediĉas sian vivon al aliuloj. Dankon al ili!

  • This TED video is amazing!!

  • I don't care about Islam or a muslim in the comments who seems to be trying to convince an atheist of his views in life. I also don't care about that same atheist trying to disprove the existence of some god. If you two want to have your retarded debate go to some random forum in the corner of the internet somewhere so that you don't fill this entire comments section with your meaningless conversation. And if you have to have this debate on youtube then send private messages to each other.

  • Gotta watch out for those monster laundry baskets LOL.

  • extreme and radical collaboration... Im working on it!

  • @abu0ibraheem shows how much you know about science. And for your own good, stop presuming things, makes you look like a teenage girl.

  • @abu0ibraheem

"I don't want the knowledge from that book, I want the wisdom YOU got from it" I want to see god's wisdom in you, that you got from the Koran.

  • @abu0ibraheem hence forth why I don't listen to any religious view. For it separates god from man. That's how religion has power over man. It gives us the misconception that god is separate from man. when in fact everything around us(including us humans) are part of god and form god. We are god.

  • @DurexDurpaneu2 it seems that you just looking for what you're fond of. if humans who has been made by god are gods, why cant humans make humans?

by the way if you think that Muslims don't like science you're wrong the first word that God has said in Koran is "read". The ancient Muslims are the ones who made the development in the west "look in the history"

  • @abu0ibraheem The more you dodge my question the more you are showing me you didn't gain anything ov value from that book.

And yes I am looking for something, I am looking for god within man. And god doesn't show himself through a book, it shows himself through the person's divine wisdom that he/she received in the presence of god. And to be in gods presence and receive it's wisdom you need to look inside yourself, not in a book.

  • @abu0ibraheem you asked of me to read the Koran in order to understand this woman's misfortune. And since I have my own things to busy myself with, I asked you (that is a Muslim and read the Koran) to explain it to me. You haven't. You kept trying to persuade me to read the Koran, hence forth why I called you a salesman for your religion. I don't want the knowledge in that book I was the wisdom YOU got from it. The more you dodge my question the more you are showing me you didn't gain anything

  • amazing

  • @austpom333 alcohol is good for you but like anything else, it's only good in moderation. The secret in life is balance ;)

Also, good and evil are debatable.

I prefer to think ov good and evil in the terms ov constructive and destructive, which i think is much more productive ;) lol pc.

  • @abu0ibraheem ok please stop being a salesman for your religion. We had enough salesmen at our doors in the past week, to know all these silly little salesman tactics ov yours. I don't need a religion to be in the presence ov god.

Now pls answer my question or else this conversation is over.

What is the correlation that YOU see between Islam and this car accident.

And if you point the finger at me again, conversation is over.

  • @DurexDurpaneu2 every Muslim should call not muslims to islam.

I didn't say that Islam has something to do with this accident. I said God has something to do with everything and I explaind why you can't understand me if you're not a muslim but I think that u're searching for something that matches what you want.

please read Quran, you may understand.

may God guide you to the strait path.

  • @abu0ibraheem You best be trolling.

  • I used to rely enjoy a small drink after work, although i always told myself when i was 40 i would no longer drink alcohol - when i was forty i came home from work one day and there was a report on the radio that ALCOHOL CAUSED CANCER and i thought yep that will do me and i no longer drink alcohol - Alcohol is some thing that rely needs to be cleaned up, alcoholics think they can lord it over, abuse, and alcohol is bad - that is no secret

  • great !!

  • This is amazing. What a strong and determined lady:)) It just goes to show how a little help

from your friends and god can make all the difference:))

  • so touching

  • @abu0ibraheem ok then! If your a Muslim, then why can't you tell me the correlation between her accident and Islam?

  • @DurexDurpaneu2 because the difinition of proof varies between me and you.

as a Muslim I am convenced that Islam is true and that the Holy Quran came from God and has not changed from 1400 years "many not Muslim scientists said that". it is cleare that I can use it as proof.

I'll send you a massage if I 've enough time.

  • @abu0ibraheem Please cite one single non-Muslim scientist who has said that science proves the Quran comes from God.

  • @MastermindX Dr. Maurice Bucaille in his book "The Bible, The Qur'an and Science" and he converted to Islam.

  • @abu0ibraheem So he's a Muslim. I said non-Muslim.

  • @MastermindX I'm sorry but if someone knows that this book came from God how come he will not believe in it? I said he was non-muslim then he converted after knowing that.

  • I need to murder that drunk driver NOW!

  • @Abu0ibraheem are you a Muslim?

  • @DurexDurpaneu2 yes.

  • We could resolve so much if we honored and respected the wisdom of our seniors.. thank you for sharing...

  • wow. damnit i love TED

  • The bit about 64 pounds I just can't possible believe..

  • It's not any laws that are passed that will insure the safety of people but will only put hard earned tax dollars into the authorities that are usually abusing the power we invest into them as not everyone who breaks the laws are intentionally being malevolent but are struggling with tight schedules because we are forced to earn our survival. As for drug abuse, it's the need for aritificial stimulation because we are ignorantly supporting corruption that voids natural pleasures from life. STOP!

  • jews may be trying to bring down the world again just be aware.

it is inspiring to hear her and don't want to lose a world were such a recovery is possible.

  • Seeing the commenters discuss the reasons for this to happen with a solution in heart makes me all happy to be human.

  • I would consider my life meaningful if I could imbibe even a percent of this woman's courage, perseverance and strength.

  • @abu0ibraheem oh I get it! Allah is a violent, blood thirsty, freak that has a hard on for blood baths and gore! And he put this woman through pain and suffering for his own pleasure! Since she wasn't covered from head to toe in a drape, she sure deserved it! Right? right...? If not, I don't get it... What does Islam have to do with car accidents? Pls tell me.

  • @DurexDurpaneu2 I've told you you will not understand until you become a muslim. unfortunately you are not looking for the truth.

one question: why does these people "youtube.com/watch?v=YB5QBzquBrU" converted to Islam?

  • Thank you Ramona Pierson... that inspiring^

  • ... wait .. don't get off stage that quickly. What's extreme radical collaboration, if I understood well?

  • She coulda spared most of the details...

  • Whoa.

  • @austpom333 god had nothing to do with it.

Medical science and the help ov others did.

Attributing god to her healing is such a slap in the face to all the people and science that helped her recover.

Where was god in the moment she was mangled? Where was god when that stupid person got in the car drunk?

  • @DurexDurpaneu2 when you become a Muslim you will know how that God have thing to do everything.

    search on youtube about Islam.

  • @abu0ibraheem When I look up religion, I see idiots who preach that their god(s) are all-powerful, all-loving, all-knowing, and that some mystical force gives the good guys eternal paradise. Religion feeds you fantasies and bullshit 24/7.

When I look up science, I see humans with brains, who create elegant solutions to difficult problems. I see people who contribute to society instead of controlling it.

Doesn't take a genius to choose between the two, but it takes a real idiot to mix them.

  • @GeekProdigyGuy I understand you. but please answer me.

If you invited me, I came and said "when I was walking some steal and aluminum come together and make a car and I came here by that car" would you believe me?

of course not. so how come this entire universe with these different complex species was made by no one?

science should guide you to god.

  • @abu0ibraheem The difference is that the steel and aluminum are relatively stable and heavy components held down by Earth's gravity.

In a nebula, for instance, iron and various other metals are smashed together all the time to create planets, which I would find much harder to believe than a car.

Btw, science leads to pantheism -- that the harmony and symmetry of physics [the universe], are, figuratively, God, the perfection of pure, consistent, logic. Similar to music from air waves.

  • @GeekProdigyGuy OK, you then believe in God?

  • @abu0ibraheem No. It's a metaphor, a figure of speech; it's not the same "God" as Yahweh, the one who spoke with Abraham. It is literally the universe itself.

And why are no theists capable of coming up with a new and actually *correct* argument for the existence of God (as a supernatural/superhuman entity), if God supposedly exists?

  • @GeekProdigyGuy Allah "God" has put many proofs that Islam is the right riligion in the Holy Quran. If you look into youtube you'll find some of them but there are other false ones "be carefull". The Holy Quran sais"Do those who disbelieve ever consider that the heavens and the earth were at first one piece, and then We parted them as separate entities" "أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقاً فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا"" chapter 21. verse 30

  • @abu0ibraheem God didn't do shit, man wrote the Quran. You know and I know it... the whole world knows it's bullshit.

  • @frostyuk2007 if a man wrote it, it must have mistakes. find one mistake in the Quran and I will leave Islam.

  • @abu0ibraheem Find one truth that wasn't common knowledge before the book was written by the hand of man and maybe you'll still only discover that perhaps an intelligent man wrote a book and named it Quran or stole knowledge from the Greeks. There is absolutely no evidence, not one shred to support the existence of magic, if you really think you can James Randy has million dollars for you. Nobody has ever claimed the prize.

  • @frostyuk2007 I think you mean scientific proofs that hasn't been discoverd before that time.

there are many and these are two of them:

    1- /watch?v=b-YUxPywEV0

    2- /watch?v=muf4W1I7NSw

    .

    please open your mind.

  • Comment removed

  • @abu0ibraheem Then why didn't your God then provide us clear cut proof of God's existence, instead of creating:

    - natural disasters

    - criminals (even Muslims!)

    - evolution

    - SCIENCE

    - atheists

All of which point to the fact that your God does NOT exist! If you are correct that there is a God, then if he does not interfere via prayer and miracles, he must be uncaring for humanity.

If he does interfere (prayer/miracles), he must be a lying, deceiving, and sadistic bastard!

  • @GeekProdigyGuy this life is an exam for us humankind.

  • @abu0ibraheem Nice bullshit you're feeding me there. I could just as easily say that this life is just a toy for Zeus to entertain himself with.

If this life is an exam, then you're an idiot. Any god who would make a life long exam filled with the most cruel and unusual "tests" for even the most kindhearted people, is a fucking asshole. If that's the kind of god you worship, you deserve the hell that your god has created...

  • @GeekProdigyGuy please be polite in your speach. answer my question:

how do you explaine the matching of Koran & the new science?

  • @abu0ibraheem I will not be polite if you insist on positing that a God exists, who purposely allows evils for the weakest of reasons.

No God has ever been suggested by a scientific claim. The Koran is less than irrrelevant because it is an ANCIENT book written by MEN. If you find an actual link between science and God, please feel free to write a peer-reviewed scientific paper. If it gets published, I'll definitely read it. Otherwise, science has all but disproved the existence of any gods.

  • @GeekProdigyGuy I'll repeat my question a again: how do you explaine the matching of new science and the Koran?

  • @abu0ibraheem Science is widespread and ancient. I've no doubt there was scientific knowledge and/or common sense in the ancient Middle East, Europe, and/or Asia.

However, I don't have to explain what doesn't exist... What part of the Koran has anything to do with (semi-modern) science...?

  • @GeekProdigyGuy again, how do you explain the matching of Quran & the """""new"""" science (science that cannot be known at that time)?

  • @abu0ibraheem Now you're just repeating yourself without providing any "new" science that is found in the Quran. Unless it's wave-particle duality, entanglement, information theory, or some similar actual *discovery*, as opposed to philosophical guesswork, your point is null and void. And since you're avoiding the question of "WHAT new science?"...

  • @GeekProdigyGuy look in the comments. I've said that but you were not concentrated.

  • @abu0ibraheem I took a look at the videos, and they're nothing more than propaganda. "chest constricted as if rising"; "3 veils of darkness"; These are absurdly vague statements. For instance, the chest constriction is the obvious experience of anybody who has ventured up a mountain.

I want cold, hard, ABSOLUTE evidence. Words that could not possibly be interpreted any other way, and which hold correct information that not only "proves" your religion, but invalidates EVERY other religion.

  • @GeekProdigyGuy I'm not supposed to talk about other riligions. I believe that all riligions are man-made except Jew, christianity & islam. the books of Jew & christianity has been curropted. and the only book that hasn't been curropted is Koran. christianity, jew & islam ask for one main thing which is that there is no god except God "Allah"

I've gave you the proofs and it's your choice to follow islam or not. I can't make you a muslim but I try.

I hope you make the right choice

  • @abu0ibraheem You've fed me absolutely pathetic "proofs." I already have made the right choice -- atheism. My decision to live morally without gods should be enough for any reasonable God who is benevolent in any way.

If anything, I hope YOU make the right choice -- to remove religion from your life and think independently.

  • @GeekProdigyGuy thank you. please have a look at Quran.

  • @abu0ibraheem fuck off 'peaceful ' muslim, eveyone knows muslims hate everyone, which is good, because it makes me know that god is hateful, ohh yeah ,there is no god, or else muslims wouldn't be so hateful

  • @interstellarwonder Muslims are not hatefull. This is what the western "jewish" media claims.

  • @abu0ibraheem muslims are always looking for excuses to kill people, just like christians.

  • @abu0ibraheem Those are ancient. If they were correct, they would have come to far more notice. Looking at some of them... They're more like what you would find in a fantasy novel than a scientific paper. If those are what you call proofs, then you're not only religious, you need a revisit of geometry and algebra...

  • @abu0ibraheem You're an idiot.

  • @abu0ibraheem You do realize that chemistry explains this all? So what do you not believe? We know how chemistry works and how elements are created. Where exactly does god come in here? The complex things you talk about didn't start complex, they were build up by chemistry, and started simple.

I just dont understand why people feel the need of inserting god.

Also, if science is a guide to god, why does science always prove there is no god? Science is proof there is no god needed.

  • @SIC66SIC66 not true, many scientists converted to Islam because they had seen that the complexity of the universe must have come from God. it is impossible to have a bigbang with this incredible results without someone controling that.

if you are really interested you send me a massage.

  • @GeekProdigyGuy I grew up in a catholic home, but my teen years found me in a non-denominational christian church. I attended for years and was "born again". In my mid-twenties, I worked in the anesthesia department, assisting in heart and trauma surgery. Everyday I saw human hands working to repair human hearts, bones, spines, and brains. The doctors weren't given any "divine power", but were taught and coached by other humans. It was here that I took my first steps to letting go of religion.

  • @onefortyandwiry The fact that this happens in the real world is what lets me sleep at night. I hope you can spread your experiences and convince the religious people around you to at least take a more skeptical and less fundamental/literal view of their religion, and hopefully understand what atheism is about.

A world without religion is a world one step closer to getting rid of ignorance, bias, and faith. Only people that can think for themselves should be allowed to influence others.

  • @DurexDurpaneu2 If it wasn't for alcohol this and accidents like it would never have happened, the Muslim religion is not good however they got ONE thing right and that is do not drink alcohol. You don't have to drink to socialize or be happy, I am not of any one religion - and i agree that god ( the machinations of everything ) is not always good

  • Thank god she is alive

  • The Muslims have got one thing correct - DON'T DRINK !!! - the driver should thank god

  • @austpom333

Ex-Muslim Atheist here, and I still abide by that rule.

  • @austpom333 The Department of Transportation also has one thing correct - DRINK IF YOU WANT, BUT IF YOU DRINK DON'T DRIVE!!! - Praise DOT!

  • Incredible woman.

  • Welcome back to life. :-)

  • I've spent most of this week in bed with a cold. And now I watch this. I will never feel bad again.

  • Your story is inspiring.. I was kind of down today because a Professor failed me [almost] in my viva, then I saw this and realized people out there are fighting and also WINNING, bigger battles. Also, Ms Pierson, you are very brave.....

  • Thanks Ramona for sharing your horrific story with us after what happened to you 10 years ago. Many people might have given up. Your talk was inspiring. Thx.

  • sorry the story is so horrific right from the start I could not get past the first 2 min before stopping it.

  • Ramona Pierson, you are an amazing and remarkable woman that has come a long way since the incident and I have really enjoyed your talk. And to the senior citizens of Colorado retirement home, we thank you dearly, for changing someones life so that she can inspire many more, and for showing us that you are so much more special and needed in the world than anyone gives you credit for.

    -Jordan.

  • Love the talk. Could use some work on the ending though. The "extreme radical collaboration" comes out of the blue, her finishing remarks should be about the people at the senior home.

  • Screw drunk drivers D:

  • Wow!

  • This shows what can happen when people can work together. Its not about the right people being there in the right place. As everyone could be helped with rehabilitation by others. Sadly we as a species still cling to much to might makes right and greed. Instead of trying to understand each other and help each other.

  • Humanity, the ultimate driver. Let's please not lose it.

  • not to take away from the fact that the guy was drunk or to take away from the horrible thing she went through but did no one ever tell her to look both ways before crossing the road i mean sure maybe if he was sober he could have stopped or swerved around her but she puts all of the responsibility on the driver when there really is no excuse for getting hit by a car unless they left the road and hit you while you were on the sidewalk and i think it would help her mental healing if she

  • @kris6682 acknowledge her own share of responsibility for the accident

  • @kris6682 acknowledged *

  • @kris6682 She said he ran a red light. She was probably just crossing at an ordinary crosswalk.

  • @canyonsamm how naive are you people just because the light is red does not excuse your responsibility to your self to look both ways before you cross why on earth would anyone step into a street with out looking to see if any cars are coming people run red lights everyday many of them are sober i am not condoning the man driving drunk i am only saying that had she looked she would never have stepped out in front of him and the majority of the blame lies with her

  • @kris6682 "not to take away from the fact that the guy was drunk or to take away from the horrible thing she went through" yes, your whole post after that was to take away from both the guy and the horrible thing that happen. Trying to shift the blame on the victim. Someone that expected to be safe because of a right light. A person breaking that rule by going through the red light and being drunk as well.

  • @NathanWubs red light or not i never cross the street without looking its common sense its something that is told to you by your mother as a child every time you get on your bicycle or go for i walk if i look and i can see a car travelling toward the red light at a high rate of speed then i keep my ass on the side walk until im sure the car is going to stop sober people run red lights too i totally agree he shouldnt have been on the road but if you get in the road without looking and get hit

  • @NathanWubs then the majority of the blame lays with you anyone that blindly expects not to get hit because there is a red light is very naive in this world you cant expect someone or something else to protect you that is your job its illegal to mug people but that doesnt mean your gonna find me in a dark alley in the bad part of town because i dont wanna get mugged if you dont want to get hit by a car look both ways before crossing

  • @frostyuk2007 Of course the accident was the drivers fault! If he wasn't on the road, no one would have been in danger.

You can argue that some responsibility may also lie with Pierson, but we can't really blame her trusting in a red light.

  • @FindingVickie I'm not blaming her and no blame is upon her. I'm blaming the existence of the red light. There is a whole world of difference here my friend.

  • @FindingVickie yes you can its called being naive people run red lights everyday drunk or sober if you step into the street with out looking for cars first then there is a good chance you will be hit a red light does not remove your responsibility to look both ways

  • That has to be one of the most powerful and moving true stories of individual courage and survival I have had the good fortune to come across in all my life.

Power to you Ramona and I hope your ongoing recovery continues to inspire others but more importantly I hope you enjoy a long , active and happy life so that you may have that same chance to share your wisdom with others when it is your time to be old and grey.

    With love from Scotland.

  • Wow. That's an amazing story. :)

  • There are three random people who've lived beyond a likely death because I took quick action. Each time it seems I was put in the right place at the right time. My life changed by the time I was 45. Science is working miracles, but AI will never replace a human heart and quick thinking. I would agree with the comment about our dependency on technical systems; the human spirit is connected to a greater intelligence.

  • Ok I know this is going to sound heartless but bare with me. The accident was not the drivers fault.

The lights that were red removed her own responsibility to take care of her own life,

Everything a government does, the opposite effect is observed. In all areas of the world where we have removed all the street lights and signs, accidents drop dramatically.

No excuse for drink driving of course, that's just irresponsible arsehole territory.

  • @frostyuk2007 "Ok I know this is going to sound heartless but bare with me" I bared with you, you are still heartless and wrong.

  • @NathanWubs That's just your opinion, now if you examine the facts I'm still right. The existence of the red light harmed this woman and how am I heartless, it's not like I'm happy she was hurt, I'm devastated that the red light exists.

  • @frostyuk2007 Blame it on the victim? So you blame the rape victim for being raped, because she didn't have a body guard with her? Your logic is seriously flawed.

It is true that she does hold SOME personal responsibility for the incident, but that is where it ends. A car running a red light should easily be seen seconds before it happens, so I'm saying she could have responded differently or been more aware of her surroundings.

  • Comment removed

  • @frostyuk2007 Your PERCEIVED logic is flawed. That's what that phrase means. Everyone has a different perception of what is logical and what isn't. Logic is based on on/off responses (mental or physical) to any given scenario.

For instance, religious people often have a flawed sense of understanding, believing that books whos origins are over a thousand years old are still kosher in their writings from when they were originally written.

  • @frostyuk2007 The drunk driver knew not to drive while drunk, but did so in disregard to the safety of the situation. To blame it on the existence of the red light is ridiculous.... it's like blaming foolish behavior on the existence of traffic. The traffic light was obviously there for a reason.

In areas with high traffic flow and limited traffic regulators (traffic lights, stop signs, yield signs etc), safety and efficiency significantly drop.

  • @asdfgoogle My local high street has dropped the speed limit from 30mph to 20mph. This has changed the pedestrian perception, they walk out in front of every car without a care constantly, emergency braking and crashes are a daily occurrence. If people perceive danger they are safer, had the speed limit been raised less accidents would occur. Only a fool tries to cross a motorway with cars travelling at 70mph. If we remove the threat of cars people step in front of them like idiots, fact.

  • @frostyuk2007 I see your point, but only an idiot (or a child not fully aware of the dangers) is gonna walk out in traffic without looking both ways. Speed limits shouldn't mean much. The amount of traffic should. For instance, there can be a main road with a 45mph limit. At night, there only a couple cars on the road at any given time. At daytime, it's congested with traffic!

I understand and believe what you're saying. I only want to throw out that when there is traffic, look.

  • @asdfgoogle Yeah but, the thing is that we should be seeking more advanced and safer means of transportation, we do not because the monetary system priorities profit over life and that's what's killing us and making us kill eachother. The internal combustion engine and manually steered are both long obselete. How many laws need the government pass before people realize that it's the structure that's fundamentally flawed, thus dangerous?

  • @InsanityComplex1 You nailed it. I saw a documentary within the last year or so that spoke of the advanced technologies of self-driving vehicles. I believe the software was from Google. The equiped cars have collectively driven I believe 1,000,000 miles over the last 10 years or whatnot with zero accidents across all terrains and across the US.

  • @asdfgoogle Yeah, Peter also speaks of this in his "Zeitgeist: Moving Forward" film. Technology is the answer.

  • @frostyuk2007 accidents would not decrease with out traffic lights are you insane do you understand the amount of traffic on us roads it would be mayhem without traffic laws and signals the red light did not remove her responsibility to look before crossing she may have been naive enough to think it did but if you dont want to get hit by a car then look both ways before stepping into the street its just common since

  • @kris6682 "Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen" ~ Albert Einstein.

You say accidents would not decrease but I say again, in every area of the world where we have removed them drivers are far more careful and accidents are drastically reduced. What your saying is hard evidence is invalid and common sense which is not common and certainly not truth is reality. Sounds a little crazy to me.

  • @frostyuk2007 i havent seen any "hard evidence" for your claim what countries have done this and what % of people in those countries own a car and how many hours a week do they spend driving on average because if you did that here where i live in the u.s. you would just end up with a pile up at every intersection also i dont agree with that quote at all common sense is not a collection of prejudices its knowing not to touch the hot burner on the stove or to blindly step into a street

  • @frostyuk2007 You've got to be kidding. Visit India: many cities in India don't have any traffic lights or even any traffic regulations that people respects, and the traffic there is just a massive chaos. Besides despite having much less cars, the rate of accidents and deaths is much higher than in any western country.

Also in 99.9% of situations, the responsibility of an accident is on the driver, they are the ones driving a potentially killing machine.

  • @MastermindX Aye but look at the driving test in India, can you start the car? yes, then you've passed lol.

  • Where the heck was aher family during all this. Why didn't they take her home and look after her?

  • @Imogen1885 Not everyone has a loving family, or a family to begin with. Or they did not do enough or were not important to here, many reason.

  • She is so lucky the exact right people were there to do all of those things to save her. Remarkable. Truly remarkable.

  • inspiring!

& so sad how your life can just change like that :(

  • Just goes to show we should never underestimate senior citizens. They still have a lot to offer.

  • i waited 11 minutes for the story to begin! argh! i hate her!

  • The courage it must've took to pretty much start over. Nice work dear.

  • That's a beautiful talk

  • Her story definitely NEEDS to be made into a movie !

  • i quivered and i cried and I LOVE HER!

<---keeps box of tissues on desk for these kinds of matters.

  • I relish every story of resilience... :)

  • It would be cool to make a movie out of her story.

  • Comment removed

  • turn down your speakers. you know it's gonna happen.

  • she never said what happened to the asshole that ran her over.

  • Gut wrenching story. What a beautifull life....Now.

  • WOW interesting talk. They planned insufficient time for her

  • 10:06 What kind of Basket??

  • @KingWak She touched a laundry basket.

  • @eugenetswong thanks :-) know i´ve got it.

But first i heard something like "wonder"basket.

  • @KingWak A laundry Basket. probably a plastic Basket. probably even green Basket.

  • In the cold struggling universe the matter has created this marvellous being with a story beyond beauty

  • I don't understand the point of this story.

  • @MsNimpnimp The point of the story is that she found help and healing in a seniors home. Imagine you being blind and mute, and being tossed into a seniors home. Would you honestly expect them to be able to help you? In this case, they did.

  • Now THIS is a survival story.

  • 4 dislikes is proof that you just can't keep everybody happy.

  • Ok, honestly I'm happy to see her alive. But this talk is so boring and not worth it to watch

  • She's blind and yet they still tried to use the time clock, ha ha

  • @SidTempleton she WAS blind... now she's not :)

  • people who drink and drive should be executed...not even joking...heavy crimes require heavy punishments to deter them

  • that's impressive.

  • how come she survived that?

  • could have done without the gory description,,,,
