One day i almost gave up riding after a terrible accident by falling of badly. i watched this and it gave me my stregth back. thumbs up if you think horses should no longer be slaughtered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@lyr2107 each to their opinion i no but the slaughter is necessary. without it horses are being starved and abused because the prices have plummeted.  the horse economy has gone down since we've banned slaughter. I do believe it needs to be more regulated and watched and much much more humane but it is as necessary to a horses welfare as good food.

@Malpadia i was on the same page as her about banning horse slaughter and how cruel it is but then i realized that it is best for the horses and ponies that are being taken care of... but i still hate the fact that the slaughter houses will still be abusive and cruel... im so torn on which side to be on :(:( especially when they also catch wild horses... :(

This really made me cry. Secretariat is more than just a famous race horse to me. He is the blood of who I am. I had his granddaughter, and she was my heart and soul and at just 5 years old she had to be put down. I lost my best friend and I lost who I was. 2 years later I'm still mourning her death, but this brought me tears of joy! Thank you so much for this. Secretariat has been my strong point dealing with her death. This video is so enlightening and perfect.

I absolutely love this video. it's true my horse is the reason i live I know without her I would probably would be in the worst possible situation. people underestimate the bond between horse and rider. Today my horse and I got in a life or death situation. I could feel her trying so hard to save me and keep her on her back, while i could feel her trembling and she was scared. we got out of the situation but it really showed me how close our bond is. This video is amazing thank you!
