  • no other song can make me melt and feel angry at the same time

  • @ColorfulSky, this is soooo weird, those two tracks are also my favourites. plus KAYAMA on this compliation CD of ADIEMUS, if I had to chose just 3. Nice imagery.

  • la otra realidad.. de una inocencia perdida en medio de la guerra y el hambre... si alguno pone en su corazon para dar a estos niños.. hágalo no es mas que reflexionar sobre nuestros hermanos africanos

  • The blend of Celtic and South African harmonies is definitely unusual.

  • I dont think its wrong to put this pictures with this song. Its a problem that we shouldnt ignore and a lot of people arent aware of all the wars that are hapening right now all over the world. Insted of feeling sorry for them we should do something about it. I think its a good way to touch peoples heart.

    Sorry for my english.

  • but you know its the 21 centery we are still using children as soldiers... I sure hate wars

  • @EarthToFantasy it is sad that we are in the 21 century and we still have soldiers...

How comes that we are so evolved in technology but still we are so poor at relationship.. why can't we just get along...

  • @TheMetalKnightM I heard from my teacher that her son (hes part of the company) is helping afghanistan rebuilding schools rebuilding the place stopping the soldiers capturing kids! I know there definitly getting my donation when they need it! I sure hope this capturing kids for making them soldiers ends soon its going to take a long time to make africa a better place the "old ways" there doing is not right

  • @EarthToFantasy Me too. =[

  • Just an opinion, but either a collection of short videos with the music also in context OR one extended video with music cuts from the SAME collection might bring more cohesion to the video AND the music. The horror & trauma of war juxtaposed with the happiness/strength of human spirit.despite the poverty seen through the images & faces of innocent children....really cuts to the heart of what matters. Thank you CS Beautiful work-as always!

  • ColorfulSky, i simply love your work. However (as some have mentioned) i don't believe the final track of Adiemus':Songs of Sanctuary'-Hymn has been done justice-leaving the video aside for a minute. My understanding is that Karl Jenkins wrote 'Songs of Sanctuary with a view to having some 'thematic unity' ie it wasn't as a collection of disparate songs, more like a symphony of songs (not only sorrowful) that were linked by the use of traditional European classical forms.

  • What other race has been played with like this... if not people of Africa. Very sad to say the least. Music is nice though.

  • I think u should not mix this beautiful music with horrors of African poverty as it's a very different message that u mix together...these pictures shouldn't get displayed with music as they're enough strong themselves!

It's like by the song u wanna show the beauty of some kinda african music and culture, but then u show just horrible pictures.....? It's confusing really!

  • @Jojo958000 yeah life is rough

  • The music however is not contradictory. It´s all smooth and soothing (That´s why I love it actually).

For that reason I would have preferred a video with beauty only. Black children - why not, but bloody weapons - not with this music. Thx a lot anyway for posting these wonderful songs.

  • I think you really picked the two most beautiful songs of Adiemus.

The pictures however cause very different and contradicting emotions. Some of them are like "All right, in Africa childhood is still all natural, People stay close to their Kids and despite their hunger lead quite a nice life" and the other pictures are like "you bloody bastards, go to hell for sending little children to war!" (these, of course, are different people). It´s like two different worlds.

  • nice film

  • Beautiful video! I love Adiemus' music, and I love the images!

And for the record, while most Adiemus songs are indeed in a made-up language, they are modeled after African-style sounds. And the lead singer/co-founder of Adiemus is actually African :)

  • Beautiful video?? I think this is the saddest video I have ever seen =(( ...

  • why cant people simply listen to the music, surely we should create our own images when we hear it, should we not? the lyrics are simply used for the vocal sounds, they have no meanings, they are not "words" from any language. visit the Adiemus web site and hear it from the writer himself. personaly, i think the sounds are stunning.

  • :( szomorú...nem sok igazság van ezen a földön...és csak szeretnénk azt hinni, ez egy csodálatos világ

  • that raelly touch my heart i lov this vid ^^

u know i lov Africa so much^^ and i lov the vocie's that the people have over there ^^ so sad and joy full^^

  • It causes at I weeping

  • ENOUGH WITH THE RACIST COMMENTS ! ! !

  • amazing (:

just reminding that even though "adiemus"'s songs sound African they're acctually not...The words don't mean anything at all.

  • @nethgween Some things just dont have to make sense to be able to enjoy from them. This defenitly reaches the heart even tho no one knows what the heck she is singing ;). But the vibration in which it is brought is of supreme loving nature.

    Love and Light to all!

    Namaste, love you =)

  • @nethgween Thats the pount, Nothing, Can mean something :D

  • @nethgween, it isn't about the language. A lot of the the songs created by Karl Jenkins has so much African inspiration. You can hear it in the chorus and the spirit of the singers. They capture the essence of African music and the spirit so beautifully. I am African and before I became familiar with Karl Jenkins and Adiemus I would have thought that songs like Kayama and Rain dance are African. Plus Miriam Stockley, Adiemus lead singer who he has collaborated with is a South African.

  • How sad. :(

  • you make me sick

  • my friend, you are free to express your opinion... but there's no need to insult anyone.

"I may not agree with what you say, but even with my life I will defend the right you have to say what you think"

Now, about your comment... why the racism? The music is beautiful... and the images are just the expression of the feelings of the one who edited the video.

Please, feel free to say whatever you want, but don't insult

  • it is beautyful!!!! you racists should shut up, you've done enough bad things. nobody likes you.

  • @prjanicek

    God loves all people.

  • vous etez raciste!

  • et ils n'aime pas vous
