After he hit the wall. Did he get back in it? Or did the throttle just lock up?

i took those pictures!!!! :D thanks for posting video from here! i didnt realize he was so far down track when he wrecked! carl told me to toss the camera and run if there was a wreck but i didnt, glad i he didnt head towards his car, and im glad the drivers ok!! he looked dazed when he got out over by the bushes by the kart track, glad hes alright!

Did the throttle hang up before the initial hit? That's the only reason I can think of why the injectors are still open AFTER it hit the wall.

@QR3550 I don't know the answer to that questions, I did not get a chance to speak with driver or crew prior to the accident.

@Tooquick007 There is another YouTube video of this crash that was taken from the top end of the track. It looks like the throttle hung up after the first hit.  The still photo where the injectors are open and the car's against the wall is the second hit.

@QR3550 The driver opened the throttle again while bracing for the impact. You can hear that the engine is off the revs a fair bit before he hits the wall...
