most ppl who play real guitar wouldnt rag on gh fans if they would keep it to themselves i play real guitar but have played guitar hero and the thing i hate most about gh is that i turns so many of these great songs into fucking jokes u cant listen to them anymore without some fucking kid come up to u and tell u he can 5* it on expert after the 2 or 3 hundredth time it starts to get pretty annoying

I agree. As a guitar player of 22 years I find this game completely irrelevant to music itself. It's a video game. Also I believe it will contribute to the mass production of cardboard bullshit music over the next generation of young people that will be calling themselves musicians, but I guess people can call themselves what they want to. It doesnt make it true. Anyway, my original point was going to be... I am positive that Anthrax was a 5 piece on Spreading the Disease.

plus is more than just "it's just a cover band" some of the bands agreed to lend the rights to their songs but asked the developers to avoid sounding exactly the same as in the original recording...otherwise the rights would be more expensive
