Article 1, Section 7 of the Constitution stipulates that for any bill to become a law, it must pass both the House of Representatives and the Senate. That is, not be "deemed" to have passed, but actually be voted on with the support of the required majority. The bill must contain the exact same language in both chambers and in the version signed by the president to be a legitimate law.

Also, according to the AMA, medicare denies more claims than private insurance companies. So Obama lies about that issue.

Article 1, Section 7 of the Constitution stipulates that for any bill to become a law, it must pass both the House of Representatives and the Senate. That is, not be "deemed" to have passed, but actually be voted on with the support of the required majority. The bill must contain the exact same language in both chambers and in the version signed by the president to be a legitimate law.

This is extremist propaganda. There is no "government takeover of health care". It calls for a modest public option. Nor is this "the Pelosi bill". 66% of Americans want a public option. This bill provides it.
Even a single-payer system like Canada's isn't a "government takeover" and Canadians rate their health care system higher than Americans rate theirs. Only the VA gets higher marks and it is completely run by the government.

The effect did not catch up until the housing market's bubble burst. Those laws created the bubble. The wars, you are right but they were voted yes by both parties. Those numbers sound pretty bogus to me. If true though, how many of that alleged 1.5 million left because they were on a several year waiting list for treatment? How many left for cosmetic procedures or for unscientific snake oil treatments that don't qualify as healthcare in the U.S.?
In the end it's irrelevant. Nothing the democrat party has on the table right now will make health care better, cheaper or more readily available than it is right now. Their plans will do the opposite.
