I love how female athletes pretend to be all tough and everything during the games, but off the court they're just like otehr women that cross their legs. It shows that athletes are just regular people like us.
In the beginning I was wondering whether Justine was crossing her legs because her leg seemed quite high up (see about 3:06). But a minute later, at about 4:07, you could be certain that her legs were crossed because her left leg points toward her right and is resting on her right leg, which cannot be seen until the end (about 8:02).
Yeah, I noticed that too. At some instances, when the camera view was right, (2:10 or 2:25), her leg appears higher than McEnroe's and I thought that wasn't possible for someone of such small stature such as Justine. But I 've never watched the video in full, so I forgot to consider the possibility of Justine crossing her legs. For me, it was fairlt clear ar 3:05 that she was crossing her legs. Thanks for getting me straight!
She lifts her arm again at around 5:20, so you could see she was definitely crossing her legs, though it's still much easier to see at the instances that choochoochoo mentioned. Another thing: 8 minutes is a pretty long time, so I thought by the end she would have uncrossed her legs and crossed them the other way (right leg on top).
O thats why. when i saw her knee at 2:12 i assumed it was her right knee. but with her crossing her legs it make much more sense and a differnt picture. so its her left knee crossing over.
Dang the photo shoot angles! it was always to hi to properly see her crossed legs! and the only time it was low enough she already kinda uncrossed her legs! (at 8 minutes) anyone got a video where we can really see her crossing her legs?
Wow. I never liked Justine, but that interview kinda changed my mind!!! I still don't like how she didn't keep going in the AO Final, but if she says she had never been in so much pain I guess I have to believe that.
believe me, nothing is worse than a stomach pain. Its better to retire than to take a break and have a dump during a match. I just feel bad how everyone gave justine a hard time during that time. I don't think i've seen a more competitive athlete than her.

Yeah, but how about she show a little character and admit, "In retrospect, I should have played on for a few more games until completion. After all, it was a grand slam final against a friend."? Oh, excuse me. You have to have character in order to display character.
Wow, this is my kind of girl. I have skydived about 11 times, and it's a fabulous adrenaline rush. So hooray for Justine for doing it 21 times! Since this interview was in 2006, she has probably jumped hundreds of times by now.
Justine is awesome!!!

That's good investigating by Mac finding out who thaught her to hit that backhand
the way she does. She also mentions Oli Rochus, also a 1-handed backhand player.

McEnroe shows a lot respect to Justine and he believes her back hand is the best among all the male and female players.
