Sounds like the comments on here so far are except for carfanatic who doesn't know what he is talking about. boot camp in San Diego sucks compared to P.I. First off in MCRD San Diego you can see "the world" in P.I. it's all business. I was at P.I. for boot camp in and S.D. for Basic Electronics, Teletype/Telephone, and Crypto School in 1967. Then to the vacation wonderland of the world, Vietnam in1968. Semper Fi Brothers! Good luck and may God be with you!

this is a army national guard song... but i guess it will work for marines reserves. reservists could be classified as citizen soldiers i guess. cant wait til i enlist next year. every generation of my family has served in the military. im next! Oohrah!

Oh, I'm not a Marine, yet... but My brother is. I refuse to take that title away from those that earned the right to be called Marines. I do not deserve any thanks, for I have done nothing. I also believe that unless a person IS a Marine or is a close family member, that they shouldn't say "Semper Fi." I think it's disrespectful... just my personal view.
