Good guitar playing keep it up, now stop. Go listen to him sing and match you voice exactly after you listen and record, when they match you will have the voice. You are not hearing so you seem tone deaf. Listening is the key. Good luck.

Thanks! My goal is not to mimic the original. I find that not listening to the original helps the cover develop a life of its own. I gave this song a little more punch than the original.

Sure thing, but unfortunately, I don't understand the kind of tablature in the description. Is there any other kind of tabs you can offer?

The numbers tell you what frets to put your fingers on. "0" is an open string and so on. Lay your guitar down on your lap and match it to the rows. The first row is an open low "E" , 5th fret on the second string, 4th fret on the 3rd string, etc. The second chord starts with 3rd fret on the low E string. I'll send you something better if this doesn't work:)

Really sorry if this is causing any trouble for you, I understand tab, but the way you play it in the song seems much more in-depth than the description (and I don't see the pattern in the description). I'm really sorry. Is there any way you could post a link to the full table of your version or something? Like a PDF? Or chord names and the slides involved with the strumming pattern? If you can tell, I really want to play this song.
