The most important information on Jesus remains in the Bible, it is neither flawed nor edited rather due to the first Christians who were called Followers of the Way (to experience God) were persecuted for the first 320 years and this persecution of the teachers led to the lack of understanding of the Scriptures

Look, from what i know, Jesus was a man. He had a mum, a dad and a number of siblings. Everything that followed was interpreted.
He had a philosophy that scared the crap out of the establishment and he died. The details of the nativity were complete fabrications. There are no records of an Augustan census, herod died 4 years 'bc' and during his reign Quirinius was not governor of Syria. only Josephus mentions a census in 6 ad and it didn't require people to return to their hometown.
God came into human form, he had a human body susceptible to injury and death but he still did miracles, he still fortold the future, he still could read people's mind, he walked on water
He said he gave us eternal life and he said he is the Light which created the world, and although he came into the world, the world did not recognize him
He died then he rose from the dead to teach he is in all people to guide them, not to scare them but to protect them
Truly the Bible is far too serious and ancient for you to make that claim that the Bible is corrupt when God is real and God is active in our world and in the lives of all people on earth
Well not all early manuscripts have this document John 8:3-11 however the message here is don't judge others
and that is very important as part of Jesus' teachings, for he often stressed don't judge others lest you be judged and that is because it is easy to see the wrongs in others because we ignore the wrongs in ourselves

There are many things in the Bible which aren't meant to be taken literally or as historical facts, but as metaphors. For example Jesus is said to have been born from a virgin Mary, its not telling a lie, but its saying that Jesus was not an ordinary man, this is just like how buddists believe buddah was bron from his mother's armpit.
None of the Writers of gospel knew how jesus was born, they're not saying that Jesus was historically born of virgin, but its a metaphor.

The word in the John's gospel 'logos' does NOT refer to Jesus of Nazareth, but its referring to the wisdom of God. John is not saying that Jesus of Nazareth is God and he existed with God at the creation, certainly not. John meant that wisdom of God was with God from the beginning and it incarnated in to Jesus of Nazareth and we see its grace / truth through Jesus. And yes there is no word 'trinity' in the bible, and Jesus certainly knew nothing about the doctrine which came 300 years after him.

Yes the Nicene council did discuss the Trinity and here a division occurred between the Roman Church and the Orthodox church over this issue
But I was born a Christian and all my Christian life despite the religious schooling etc I only thought of Jesus as the Son of God, never as God until later on when I learnt Jesus is God the Father and Holy Spirit as well, this was not taught to me by my upbringing or church rather this is in the Bible itself

I question authority and I try to learn what comes from God and what comes from man
It use to be, Most Jews were learned Jews but not all scripture was meant to be understood until their prophecy came true, only then could it be understood
I don't follow what many Christians speculate as to what the scriptures mean, I follow what the Holy Spirit reveals about the scriptures, big difference

Jesus claimed he is God, that is why he was sent to the cross and Muhammad was careful to never say anything as to what Jesus taught,with the exception of what Muhammad took for himself. Well thank goodness for that, it seems christians who have read the bible in full is becoming a scarce commodity. Jesus did not create a religion, nor was it his intent. He was a committed Jew as were his followers. Christianity as we know it was created many years after his death and based upon selected and edited texts with contradictory evidence from the same period branded as heresy. Islam is an abrahamic religion as is Judaism and christianity and should be treated as such.

As you know from your reading of the Qur'an, the three main prophets in Islam are Moses, Jesus and Mohammed. Jesus was a JEW, as was Simon, Judas, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James, Thaddaeus and the zealot Simon.
You can smear Islam all you want but without it Philosophy as we know it would not exist as it is only through Islamic sources that Greek thought and reasoning was able to survive Christian destruction.

this is when i get to go 'AH HA' the earliest known written record , in the original text has the number of the beast as 616, not 666. The reason for the discrepancy? Translation, human error and just changes over time, 666 has a better ring to it. The text upon which christianity is based upon are reliant not upon God or divine inspiration but human effort and sadly, human fallibility. This was the easiest example i could give.

My point was that the means by which we have any information on Jesus the Nazarene are flawed, and were edited. I mean, just look at the different editions of the bible and the controversy caused when they included the footnotes of translators as part of the original text. If looked at with the sort of scrutiny we expect of a modern work of literature that claims to be true, the bible doesn't really hold up. I mean just look at the nativity, a massive fiction.

Look, from what i know, Jesus was a man. He had a mum, a dad and a number of siblings. Everything that followed was interpreted.

There are no records of an Augustan census, herod died 4 years 'bc' and during his reign Quirinius was not governor of Syria. only Josephus mentions a census in 6 ad and it didn't require people to return to their hometown.

I believe God came as Jesus to teach he is in all people to guide them and that he would never send anyone to die on the cross, rather he would come himself which he did

When you experience God's presence and God's own guidance, then you are no longer misguided by anyone in the world for many false prophets have come into the world, deceiving people and Muhammad truly was one of them
To experience God is the greatest experience in life, for it gives meaning and purpose to all of life and to your own life as nothing else can
What is important in the Bible has not been tampered as the facts remain in John 14:20, Matthew 28-18 and in Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 7:7-8

I believe the purpose of life is to die. I'm not being nihilistic but humanity is the only species aware of its own mortality, its what gives life its bittersweet tang. If you always focus on preparing for what'll happen in the 'next life' then you forget to truly life this life, here and now. I'll not get into too much now, i'll try and get a vid rolling. One of my human weaknesses-i'm crap with cameras.

All that is needed to know about Jesus, is that he claimed he was God and he showed how he was God by his behavior, his compassion, his miracles, his ability to read people's minds and to accurately predict the future
He spoke Aramaic but the New Test. was in Greek and in Latin
Even so the most important teachings of Jesus is that he rose from the dead to prove he is in all people to love them and to guide them but Christians for their faith were offered awareness of His loving presence

Worse than Satanism? I would think that would be pretty high on your crap list. I think some sect of christianity are far worse than Islam. I mean some of the evangelical churches are appalling, they say 9/11 was caused by America for allowing abortion and Homosexuality, as if God would be so capricious.

I don't even know what creationism means
all I know is God created humankind and our world and God desired to be experienced by all people naturally without fear or force
Those who do experience God experience true paradise or heaven
That is all God wants for our world, heaven on earth
Jews are still God's chosen people but God loves all humankind even those who do not believe in him because only God exists and all people are part of God, for nothing can exist outside of God

I can't believe you are ignoring the trials of Galileo, the inquisition, the crusades ect. Whatever your prejudice is against Islam, it has just as much right to exist as Christianity and whatever claim of wrongdoing against science literature or mankind that you accuse Islam of, i assure you Christianity can match and raise.

because the first Christians were persecuted for the first 320 years then their faith was adopted by their persecutors the Roman Empire who latter became the Ottoman Empire
Islam does not have the right to exist just as the Dome of the Rock has no right to be in Jerusalem because Islam began with a false prophet
Furthermore only Islam is a danger to the world this very day for it never was from by God

Spirit Keeper I don't need to know that you do not know the significance of your own name because you regard Islam as a religion from God when it is a religion from man as its violence,hatred and oppression reveals that it is from man using God
Your Spirit would have informed you of that truth
For Spirit is more one's true idenity as God is spirit as well and God is with each person on earth whether they believe it or not

I wouldn't trust Wikipedia too much, although the claim that the celebration of Christmas pre-dates is shown to be false if continue reading that quote. It talks of Caesar Augustus trying to shorten Saturnalia, and Augustus was around before christianity.
