  • stocking these cichlids like this curbs there territorial nature, as there is so much fish they can't create a pecking order. i think the Zoo may have done this as to not have visitors see the fish bullying or fighting each other....i would say though, that the amount in that tank would probably be the limit as there must be 100 fish in there

  • Yes, they crowd like this, guys, but the entire lake is not like that. I don't doubt their expertise, but I don't agree with the manner in which the fish have been displayed. It's just meant to show us what they look like, and it's very pretty, but I think we're missing much of the fishes' natural behavior by not having more open spaces, and variation outside of the one pile of rocks.

  • Far to small for me. i got more fish in my 10 gallon.

  • Once they lay eggs, there will be like millions of babies in there. Make big money!

  • COOOOL! :)

  • I got.some of the same fish in a 30g tank

  • hey, do you ship the fish to canada?

  • @farhanfisher Sorry I do not sell fish in large enough quantities to be able to ship fish

  • To many fish in that tank. :(

  • @TheDarkClanVidz You obviously know nothing about African Cichlids. I won't go off on one trying to explain as it's not my tank but simply suggest you google Lake Malawi images and see for yourself the amount of Cichlids per small sections of the lake.

    Have a nice day.

  • @bolly12345 makes them calm down as well ;)

  • @TheDarkClanVidz Too many retards on youtube. This tank is beautiful. its not overstocked at all. Learn before you speak for knowledge is power.

  • I've watched this video a few times now & I can't understand why anyone would dislike it other than jealousy, or t hough I'm jealous myself I think this is stunning! ;)

  • nice

  • FISH RAVE!!!!

  • Hi, what kind of lightning do you have in the tank here?

    What "color" is it?

I got marineblue but I want to change since I cant see the colors of my fishes :/

  • @ZnApPy Hi there, this isn't my tank - It's a tank from Chester Zoo UK

  • @ZnApPy go for 10,000k daylight, they're bright and white. LEDs are great also, but not cheap. I have 3 lights on my tank, all of different colours, the combination looks great. vid is on my channel

  • @ZnApPy I find that reef lighting works well for africans. You dont need the light to be as intense as a coral reef, but the color works well. I have a 90 gallon african tank and the light I use holds 2 t-5 bulbs. I have one Actinic bulb and one 10,000k bulb. I use the actinic only to simulate dusk and dawn.

  • lol made on my bday

  • Hey im wondering i got some electric yellows ive had in my tankk for around 1-3 weeks and i havent seen them eat yet are they still adapting or something else any answers or help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
