you just made me feel 100% better with this video :) spent £100 on buying this exact model! was gunna get the v2 but i decided to spend the extra £60 i saved on upgrades :)
thanks, but no, it was perfect that day. Just the video that makes you think. But today thats my problem. I can't get the tracking right anymore, no matter how hart i try. Maybe i need new Headdampers.
try using a pitch gauge, get it on idel up mode, (ESC unplugged, do it always you are working on your heli, so it doesn't hit you on the face!) half throttle stick, pitch has to be at zero, it also will make your blades run in track.
why the sound of the blades spinning sounds like that? it gets higer and lower lke a ni ni ni ni ni ni ni or something like that, don't know how to explain it, you should check what is causing that, i don't know really
Hello, im thinking of buying one of these heli's they seem awsome! But im just wondering how long you can fly with one full battery load? and how long does it take for the battery to get fully loaded after a max length fly? Right now i have a Lama v3 but these seem like much more fun:D
It depends a bit of how you fly. Normal Hovering and flying around will give you about 10 minutes. If you fly 3D, its about 5 minutes.
Loading again depends on the charger you use. If you use the charger that comes with the RTF Version it takes 4.5-5 hours!!! A better charger will take 1hour for the same Batterie without destroying the battery.
part2: Normal Pitch goes from-2 to +10 Idle Pitch fro, -10 to +10 Both 0 Pitch at Mid-Stick Position (3) Hold 0% (I use it to secure Motorshutdown after/before Teakeoff) RENO: INH (don't know yet) GYRO: INH (i read to not use it if a HH Gyro is installed. Don't understnd its function yet anyway) SW-T: A:20% ; E:20% ; ON SWSH: A:+80% ; E: +80% ; P:-100% ; 3-S F'S: CH3 F/S 20% Please tell me if you suggest something better be changed!? Br foxbearCH
At the moment the Video was shot, i was still using the Stock Transmitter/Reciever. Shortly after i installed the Futaba 2.4.
I will post another comment later today, giving you my settings. But i do not use ALL features yet, since i am not quite sure what it all is for. :-) So don't take my settings for granted. Later. Br, foxbearCH
heyyy this is a good video i am getting the belt cp and i learned on my HBFP and i can hover and more with it but i think im ready for more and you learned on the belt cp thats coool lol this video helps me on getting the belt cp now lol thanks..
Hey, thanks HeWeeThaMan. Hope i can soon produce another vid. Unfortunately i did some stupid mistakes (no,did not crash, i did it while changing the original Esky Transmitter/Reciever to Futaba 6ch Fasst 2.4 GHz and testing. The Futaba is a great deal, but the Setup is some heavy stuff if you're a newbee like me) Can't wait to fly outside again, but right now the weather is bad...
Good luck with your Belt CP!
Do you fly in Normal mode or Idle? I do not dare to try Idle, but i can't wait to ...

Do you fly in Idle up mode?
WebsterFlyers 1 year ago
was this your first flight ever with an r/c heli?
Alcadeias2 2 years ago
@Alcadeias2
Its like i explain in the description. Its Battterieload 20-25, but most of them was just learning to hover at the inside parkinglot.
Talking outside, this was flight my 5th flight.

That gyro seems to do a good job of holding the tail, did you use the stock tail servo in this flight?
mgrande11 3 years ago
Sorry for the late reply.
It is the Esky HeadHolding Gyro (EK2-0704A), not the Stock Gyro.

I will, nut till then have a look at my other vids flying the HBK2. I use the same Futaba, just a second reciever installed.
What in particular you would like to see? The Controller itself or do you expect it to be visible the way it controls the Heli?

So, here are my settings (part1):
D'R: each 100%.
Expo: each 0% (have to figure out what it does, not clear yet).
EPA: set to a point no servo reaches/exceeds its limit movement.
TRIM: minimize as good as possible by setting the mechanics as good as possible. I only need to Trim the Tailservo to -20.
N-TH: 1=0% ; 2=45% ; 3=70% ; 4=75% ; 5=85%
N-PI: 1=40% ; 2=42% ; 3=48%; 4=62% , 5=73%
I-TH: 1=85% ; 2=75% ; 3=70% ; 4=75% ; 5=85%
I-PI: 1=25% ; 2=35% ; 3=48%; 4=62% , 5=73%
