if you want to find out what model number is your xbox dvd drive ...............there is a circle in the top of the xbox drive you can see it without taking the xbox apart ....... orang color means 9504......... yellow color means 0225...... i hope this will help

if the center circle is a perfect half moon shape then its a 9505

if it has a square notch out of it then its the new 0225

i have been trying to mod my drive since the release a couple of days ago. im using my pc instead of the usbpro, but my computer wont detect my drive. i removed the sata cable from the cd/dvd drive on my computer, and insert it into the back of my drive. but the pc still wont find the drive. any idea how to fix this?
