  • SANTORA IS THE MAN!

  • WTF Mrs. Kenny? "Approach him in a way that doesn't scare him or make him think he's in trouble??" Thats how the American justice system works! If anyone steals, they should be prosecuted. Thats the way the world works. Disability should be irrelevant.

  • Check check

  • Watch them run, watch them fall, watch them try to catch a ball. At the Special Olympics! Watch them laugh, watch them drool, watch them fall into the pool (that's diving). At the Special Olympics! Around his neck gold medal's hung, resting on his giant tongue. At the Special Olympics! Kid with Downs wins the race, even though he stood in place. At the Special Olympics! -Sung by Stephen Lynch

  • Thank you. Thank You! THANK YOU!!! I love this. I am sure that I speak for every mother of a kid with DS or any other disability when I say this is AWESOME and inspiring. I have been watching vids all day of Dan & family and am overwhelmed by the amount of hope that they have given me. Thanks again! Oh, I have just RSVPd for the KoP PaTTAN on the 16!! Can't wait!

  • You're words are very encouraging, just as long as you realize the event is on the 18th.

  • Ha! I did put 16th! Its a Saturday, right?! Have a good one!

  • this is very inspirational. I am reading a book in my English class right now about a kid with autism, and I realized that mentally challenged people can be very smart. Sometimes even smarter than me. So when people use the word "retard", as an insult, I get very angry.

  • Wow; it's so interesting to see what Dan was doing, and is doing now. It's funny how so many people from PW remember him. I used to see him dancing in the cafeteria all the time. It looks like, from the other videos, Dan is doing great and I'm really glad to see that.

  • What a thief!

  • im a behavior specialist, i work with people/children with down syndrome and autism. dan to me, looks very high functioning. he is a very inspiration person. he just living his life and enjoy it. he has great opportunity than most kids with his disability dont have.

  • well done dan, keep up the good work!

  • Mrs. Kenny: "What's that say?" Dan: "Help me!" Mrs. Kenny: "You know what it says." Dan: "Ten...." Mrs. Kenny: "No!" Dan: "Oh four?" Mrs. Kenny: "Right! (helps Dan continue to read the next item on the list) Loaves...." Dan: "Loaves..." Mrs. Kenny: "Of..." Dan: "Of...." Mrs. Kenny: "Whites." Dan: "Whites." Mrs. Kenny: "This is for bread." Dan: "Oh yeah!" Mrs. Kenny: "Okay, so we need ... Four ... Large!"
  • Wow Dan,

    You're extremely inspiring!

  • Good to see Dan has a job. My brother won't even get a job and he is about Dan's age during the time this video was shot. If their was a an ACME near me I would shop there due to them making opportunities for folks like Dan. This is great!

  • HI DAN WE NEED MORE VIDEOS I LOVE THEM

  • its inspiring

  • We have a 3 year old son with Down's, your video was very inspiring, Thanks

  • This is a GREAT video! I really hope that you will do more documentaries like this. It is good to see a person who has overcome major obstacles and is living a very successful and productive life. This reminds me of the "favorite son" videos which won several awards and is now one of the few documentaries in the Library of Congress.

  • this one is really good. hope to see more.

  • Hey, I really like this first draft, I can't wait for the documentary to be finished, so I can watch the whole thing. It is really good.
