For some reason I'm yet to identify, I tend to believe artists either deliver on Jools' show or not, and on this occasion Eddie and the boys nailed it! the thing about Jools Holland's sound mix - it always sounds so damn quiet - no matter how loud you turn it up. I don't know about you but if I'm quiet, I can't rock... Pearl Jam are cool but TV studio sound engineers still have a long way to go in my opinion.

@SamuraiMongoose In my humble opinion; Prince and Jeff Buckley. Prince can absolutely shred with the best of them. It's hard to find a funkier guitarist out there than him. And no one in the history of rock and roll could convey emotion so purely and artistically through a guitar as Jeff Buckley did.

@dozer3955 The '92 drummer didn't write/play on the studio version of Alive, he was their best drummer though (Dave Abbruzzese). Matt Cameron is still very talented and fits the band's new sound great, he just gives a different feel to the songs he didn't write.

@StrawberryYobert  Dave Krusen was the original drummer. Abbruzzese and Krusen both smoothly killed on this song and gave it a groove and movement. Matt Cameron sounds like he's playing in cement...sluggish and lackluster. Matt is excellent, but he can't hold a candle to The Daves!
