So what if hemp can be used to alter consciousness? It can provide us with pretty much everything we need. You can make paper out of it, plastic, textile, food etc. The hemp fibers are both longer and stronger than for example cotton fibers or tree fibers. We'd never have to cut down another tree to make paper. We wouldn't have to use pesticides to grow cotton for textiles. There's a lot of things that would improve.
