@Bitteulze Indeed it has. Many shots of the 1922 movie Nosferatu were filmed here (on Orava castle Slovakia), although until recently it was thought to have been shot in Transylvania (Romania)

@nagyculli It is generally accpeted that the Hungarian tribes arrived in the late 10th century, when the Slavic tribes were already present. The Huns were defeated and finally disappeared from the area. Could you explain where they were at the time of Greater Moravia, which included present day Slovakia? Nobody normal agrees with the oppressive Slota policy but: Slovaks were really exposed to severe Magyarisation, so were other nationalities. First written Slovak come from much earlier times.

The title was no the slovak castles, but castles IN Slovakia, and when yuo want to see them, you must go to Slovakia, not Hungary. But I now, its very sore for many hungarian people (Iam hungarian too, but i live in Slovakia). On the both side are many very stupid persons, but the hungarians should see (when they think, that are wiser), that in the history always cut them off (see Trianon etc). It was not the first, but also not the last case. unfortunately.

Čaf, je to soundtrack k Throne of Bhaal, tretej časti trilógie Baldurs Gate. Musika je nedocenená a pokladám to za vrchol skladatelskej tvorby od Inona Zura a Hoeniga. Hoenig - minimálne čo viem je skladatelom pre hlavnú ságu Baldurs Gate a tiež je autorom hlavnej témy Throne of Bhaal. ...ale túto hudbu pozná málokto, pokiaľ nie je fanúšikom Baldurs Gate, tak ako ja :)

The brutal nationality policy of the royal court in Budapest needs no special comment. Besides, Slovaks were the first to arrive in the area. The Huns were defeated and finally disappeared from the area. Could you explain where they were at the time of Greater Moravia, which included present day Slovakia? Nobody normal agrees with the oppressive Slota policy but: Slovaks were really exposed to severe Magyarisation, so were other nationalities. First written Slovak come from much earlier times.

Slovensko je nádherné, nikdy by som ho nechcela opustiť nadobro... a hrady vždy vydychujú vzduch dávnych dôb... mne osobne bahajú zimomriavky po chrbte, keď nejaký vidím, často sa mi premietnú pred očami aj príbehy, ktoré sa tam odohrali, o ktorých som čítala... no, možno by prospelo, keby sme sa o ne aj o trošku viac starali, pretože veľa hradov zmyzlo z povrchu zemského vďaka tomu, že boli nechané napospas prírode, ktorá ich pochovala..:)

Thanks a very lot. Do you speak hungarian language too, or are you autentically slovak? But it it doesn't matter anyway. There would be more people like you in boty country. (I'm fan of Mike Oldfield too....:-))

Hi, yw. I'm real Slovak from middle Slovakia:)) but I've Hungarians in my closest family. I don't speak hungarian, because we've left south Slovakia when I was 1 year old. So don't really get the chance in the mixed zone:) I'm glad that u have such opinions.,...we have to do everything in our countries for better life in our common region and help each other! 'cause inbetween we are yelling on each other like mad, someone else get the profit! Greets to all Slovakian and Hungarian people,

These are Hnngarian Castles as part of the Hungarian history and the territory of the HUNGARIAN KINGDOM. They was built 6-8 hundred years ago, when Slovakia was not even a dream.
