Whoa hang on a mo, even modern Boeings have fly by wire controls these days, so if you're gonna trumpet one manufacturer over another, at least get your facts right...

The truth is: planes crash occaisionally regardless of who manufactures them. The most common causes of air crashes are pilot error, and poor maintenance.

To date, Boeing has lost more heavy airliners to crashes than Airbus, whereas the opposite is true regarding smaller craft.

sorry to break your bubble mate, but Boeing has had more fatal crashes just in the last 3 years even if you include both the Airbus' crashes this month. 5 in total for Boeing totalling ~650 people. Airbus 3 crashes ~600 dead. Flying though, is proven as the safest way to travel. Far more accidents happen by car for example.
