You know what I've heard as one form of abrogation...that is a verse is revealed to abrogate the practices that people did to get around earlier revealed verses. For example, the mention of divorce only being twice in quran 2:229, to abrogate the practice of a man who wanted to declare divorce, and then take her back and do this 100 times keeping her in limbo. And I guess quran 22:52 is evidence for that, 45:29 & 7:154 also use the root.
Allah used the people of the Prophet's time who were best of generations to define the laws for coming generations,so during Ramadhan marital relations were allowed because it became evident that humans will be compelled to break the laws if it will be difficult to follow.
But I did not understand your referral of 22;52,45:29 and 7:154 in relation to abrogations.
