I do not agree about the locals. I have been going to Thailand for four years and everywhere I have found the people friendly and ready to help. Even in the South where it is mostly made up of Muslims, I have always found them friendly and helpful.

Absolutely agreed! It's my most favourable place for traveling. Far more relax than Phuket.

Though Trang Province is more remote than Krabi but Krabi is still the best!!

Ao nang isn't even close to the the crowds of Phuket not even close. I stay there every year for 10 yrs, it is not even crowded like Phuket not even close.

I've been in krabi, and it is amazing! The people there are so nice, and the islands is so beautiful. I were there november 2006, the perfect month to be there. it's not so much turist.I recordnice everything in this vidio. The best island I thought was koh phi phi, Maya bay and koh poda.. I don't think he named koh poda. But it's realy great. I saw some monkey when I were there =) They were taking food from us when we were bathing in the sea :P krabi was the best holiday ever! I'm from sweden.

Anyone who knows anything about what you should or shouldn't do knows that you shouldn't feed wildlife. You are making them dependent on humans and they aren't designed to eat most of the junk food that humans eat anyway. I'm sure you meant well though.

No, tourists need to know that feeding wildlife is not helping the wildlife. Are you against education or do you think that 'tradition' is justification enough for anything? This is relevant as I care about the monkey's health. Do you?

I care about animals (and even malaeng and plants), but what can you do? People are always going to feed the animals, period. Not everyone is educated or has common sense, so yelling at them for feeding animals is an unlikely deterrent. They will do what they want. Plus, how will you stop animals from eating human food if they want it? They love to steal it or look in the trash. Besides, Thia food is pretty healthy :)

Krabi is just as crowded and just as expensive as Phuket. The locals have exploited Krabi for all it's worth. I lived there in the early 90s and it's my least favorite place in the South.

Ao Nang is a zoo... McDonalds, Starbucks, Burger King, etc. It's just like any other touristy beach anywhere in the world. Railey for hiking? Give me a break. This video is a lie!

No thank you. I live in Thailand. I get tire of false advertising. Krabi is a horrible place in my opinion and I don't like seeing folks who think they're signing up for a trip to a pristine environment getting screwed by unscrupulous travel agents and now YouTube. I've lived in Ao Nang in the early 90s. It's my least favorite place in Thailand!
