  • out of scale if you ask me and some weathering on the layout sorry

  • is this HO scale? it looks like it from the width of the trains.

  • @Fireheart528

    It is HO.

  • @bncoaltrain Are the curves big enough on the main line to run the UP 4-12-2? That is just about the ultimate rigid-framed engine ever built.

  • Wheres this club located?? i happen to be a fan of both Alco and EMD; i can see several of those locos on here. do you happen to let members run some of the early diesels like the GP9 & SD9 or the Alco RS-3 or others like that? i also happen to like the C&O H-8 Allegheny; are any steamers run on that layout occasionally?

  • @Fireheart528 The club is in Spokane Washington and we run anything and everything.

  • wheres this club located at?? very nice layout!

  • Love this layout and the trains. This video and music to it is tops for me.

  • @BNforever2009 The whole video is basically awesome. I joined the local model railroad club and have been running Southern Railway 2-10-2 #5216 most of the time. Another member said that steamer hadn't seen that much action in a long time. Made me feel pretty good that someone who wasn't running his steam engine had left it at the club so some one could have the chance to run and appreciate it. Our main line could handle a UP 4-12-2 since the curves are so wide. Not down in the oil yard, though.

  • This video was very well done. I'm an H.O. Scale modeler also, not to mention a fan of long, modern trains. The sad part is the club I belong to was created and is operated with 10 to 15 car trains in mind. I believe the cause is the age of most of the members (being up in the higher range). My club is the Corvallis Society of Model Engineers near Corvallis, Oregon, and we celebrate our 50th this year.

  • @ae3859 I am exactly like you mate i love modern long trains but our club dosent have the length of yard or main line to run 30 car trains or longer and my layout only 10x10

  • @ae3859 I agree! I'm more partial to trains with two or three 2-10-0s hauling a long train of mixed freight or a manifest run; even better is those giants of steam railroading like the C&O H-8 2-6-6-6 on a solid train of coal cars. Or four D&RGW 2-8-0s barking up a 2% grade with a long freight behind them.

  • nice video

  • What's the first song and who's it by?

  • Awesome!

  • Cool stack train!!...Man this SO makes me want to bring my sleeping ATSF collection out of RETIREMENT!! :D :D

  • well do it. xD

  • When I get a bigger house of my own! :D Or one with a extra room :)

  • just one thing that is wrong with this train set where is all the geto detroit graffiti . :)

  • I love the sceney an trains passing one another on 3:27 (I think thats where it is)

to the fuckface that thinks trains are gay, STFU, or I'll run you over with my SD40-2's shitbrick.

  • Takes one to know one you queer.

  • is that a Kato BN at 0:09

  • at 2:15 like the athearn RTR gp60m

  • Thanks. I was gonna sell it when I saw they were going for nearly $200 on ebay. Then I changed my mind cause it's so cool!
