  • no air cleaners?

  • i came a little

  • p.o.s. ^_^

  • What transmission is being used with this engine? Amazing Great job.

  • The second best V8 sound I ever heard!

(numero uno is the Ferrari 355)

  • damn v8 corolla sick

  • I just love it. I actually cried....

  • @Adasiek9595 lol

  • what type of fuel rails are you using?? I actually saw this same car on a obx itb product

  • Sounds awesome and the throttle response should be terrific.

  • who made the itb kit?

  • What kind of cams? that chugging at idle sounds beastly. and sweeeeeeeeeet sound btw!

  • Nice man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sick sound

  • Are there air cleaners to cover the funnels?

  • sounds like an exotic

  • great response

  • get some friends over and stick ur dicks in those holes and get someone to rev er upp haha

  • @juniorjoe99 hmph i wonder what the ecu will think of that hahah!

  • man give it some hell so we can hear it in the higher rpms

  • Nice sound.

  • wow....8000 rpm capable engine and your just reving it like that......

  • It looks like a skyline to me.

(its a joke btw you youtube noobs)

  • Its been said many times no one can tell sarcasm on the internet.

    Just saying...

  • A = engine block

    E = Corolla model

80 = generation of this model

6 = variante! of this model

  • That is one bad ass 1UZ-FE in that AE86... errr.... now UZE86

  • lmao at air filter comments

maybe, just maybe hes just demoing or just got it going?

he might have 8 socks? or a plenu, built to go over the top ov them?

    might not too???

ive seen engines on drag cars run for years with no air cleaners.

  • some people say that those things are ilegal

  • Some people are retarded then.

  • You are the retarded one, They are illegal in places where you need to retain emissions equipment.

  • Take it for a spin down a dusty road. It might get the intake ported from dirt. ;)

  • that engine aint going to last long

  • you can't kill a 1uz.....go look it up.

  • with no airfilter you can you will gradually lose compression due to dirt scratching the cylender walls

  • you can destroy any engine you will gradually loose compression due to dirt scratching the cylender walls due to not having airfilters.

  • Feed it a hand full of dust.

  • Why?

  • because of any dirt that gets in there is going to scratch the cylender walls to shit causing compression loss

  • Yes, of course, he should really put on some filters on those itb's.

  • ya if he had filters on those it would nearly be bullet proof.

  • can some tell if can install itb in a 4afe 16v????

  • wow

  • what is this V8 in?

  • Something really fast, that's for sure.

  • probably a mk III supra, 1uz fe's are common swaps.

  • Looks like a Corolla to me

  • Thats why it says 86 in the title, it's in an AE86

  • I drive an AE86, I know what they are and what they look like. They're corollas.

  • And so do I, whats your point?

  • Its in a Toyota AE86 mate

  • Incorrect-o-mundo...the ae86 is a 4cyl this is a 1uz 8cyl...

hence the fact that it has 8 throttle bodies & 8 spark plugs.

because it clearly has 8 cylinders.

those are simple indicators of what type of engine a vehicle has. so next time youll know that by the amount of plug wires on an engine indicates the amount of cylinders.

i dont know how you got thumbs up on that one!?

  • So your saying that a 4 cylinder twin spark motor is a v8 becasue it has 8 spark plugs and leads? lol

  • there are certain exceptions ...but this is not a 4 banger... obviously

  • What the OP was saying is that this 1UZ-FE engine swapped into an AE86 Corolla.

  • he got a thumbs up because hes right lol have you ever heard of something called a motor swap lol bigger motor smaller car drift machine

  • No one said that a 1UZ came factory in AE86s, this is obviously a swap

  • you cant say "A" before E86 then.

its a (1UZ-E86) now the original "A series" engine is gone.

    "A" = engine.

    "E" = chassis (corolla)

    "86"= exterior style (levin)

  • incorrect- the A is the engine reference. hence 3A and 4A.

all crammed in the category of the corolla E80. the E86 was the "new and improved" body style of that class.

but if you notice all versions of that class had an A somewhere in there to represent a whole spectrum of 4cyl engines used from 1.4-1.6's.

you need to get your facts strait before you try to shoot someone down. next time look at the VIN and they all have an A somewhere in it. if it was a 8cyl from the factory it wouldnt have A.

  • My Ae86 started as a 4AC with rear drums. The Treuno donor car had AE86.

In Jp, the Hachi-Go (8-5) was the SR5.

The Grp A TRD built cars raced in Oz, were AE86. GTS in the US was designated 88. Not only that but this shell also came out with a 2A and it was stamped 86 as well. Obviously the A means A block. Perhaps you should check your facts first...

  • can i put this engin in a 84 toyota hatch back

  • 8 itbs? ... thats sick

  • Well... It's V8 and if there wouldn't be 8 tb's it wouldn't be a itb setup then :P

  • hello there can i mount this engine unto a toyata AE70 or KE 70?

  • you can mount any engine in any car if you have the money.

  • True that. With the right stacks, you can put a Concord jet engine in a go-kart if you wanted to.

  • like a 2jz in my 85 toyota mini truck! that would be sweet!

  • work*

  • how throttles worl pleas ?

  • r u a fucking idiot

  • hahaha 2jz my ass.your joking right ?

  • hahaha.. fast and furious got up your ass

  • did make this yourself? looks like fun to drive.

  • hello there nice engine.ay i know what car is that engine mount onto? is it a toyota ae70?

  • nope its a AE86

  • Comment removed

  • JDM POWER RITE THEA!

  • i want it! :D

  • My god, it sounds beautiful hahaha

  • actually, its my car, and the engine is stock 1uz. the throttles, when used with an aftermarket ecu, and a set of extractors give a stock engine an output of 270 RWHP, plus massive response increase. a mate has a similar setup minus the throttles in an s-13 and his makes 195 RWHP. the whole setup is well worth the effort...

  • Yea does it really help alot off the line? because I think thats the biggest problem with my SC=-it's not very fast out of the whole but once it starts moving it flys. hence the 15.0s 1/4 @95mph

  • off the line its a sligshot. not run it down the 1/4 yet, its a drift car, but it ups and runs really really quickly....

  • @saberjosh these itb setups remove the plenum spacing, which really kills upper end power since there is no air for the engine to draw from at high rpms. Throttle response and low end power are where these shine

  • @andrew1501 I disagree. ITBs are great at high end and poor at low end. The runner length is REALLY short and they have virtually infinite plenum volume because they have no plenum

  • @a96bimmerm3 you are correct, i wrote that late after work. my apologies

  • how the HELL do you time all 8 carbs right?

  • its actually EFI with 8 seperate throttles, and a very simple vac guage and fine blade screwdriver are all thats required to fine tune it at idle....

  • thats amazing

  • fairly nice. Is there some sort of air filter system though?

  • @saberjosh It would even be worth it for the sexiness.

  • What toyota is that. And do ITB's help with power or throttle responce only? Thanks

  • Is much power gained from itb's or is it mainly for throttle response?

  • You gain like 10-20 hp. It's mainly for throttle response.

  • wow, iuz in a AE86? sweet!

  • what itbs are you running

  • love that sound, i have this engine in my SC.

  • relishywatermelon:-

"I love the 15,000 rpm redline. lol

    REV IT HARDER YOU GIRL"

    Bwahh HAHAHAHAHAHA LOL

    My thoughts exactly

  • were the fuck can i get that set up at i have a 95 sc and that shits sick

  • how much power you getting at the wheels out of that?

  • Gnarly!

I love Japanese Tuning, it seems no matter what the engine is they manage to turn it into a power freak! I love it man, sounds great. post more vids!

  • This motor is hella overbuilt too, just like most Japanese engines.

  • its true, i forget witch year, but it won top 10 engines of the world back in the mid 90's, think it was 97. that says alot when you can beat out alot of the brands out there...

  • Overbuilt?

  • No such thing, lol more is better.....always;)

    rofl;)

  • put a tow bar on it and use it to tow heavy trailers!

    :) lol

  • I love the 15,000 rpm redline. lol

    REV IT HARDER YOU GIRL

  • come on rev harder. haha sounds great

  • Pure awesomeness i just bought me a 92 SC400 for 800 bucks with a knocking powerplant but hey its a toyota i bet all i need are the rod and main bearings 36 bucks a set =] gotta luv ebay

  • i tray to imagine the faces of ppl when this monster is swaped into an Ae86

    LOOOL :-) an awesome engine

  • Well, guess what i want! They sound nut's

  • What's used to tune that? Is this motor from a Lexus?

  • Just one thing - what kind of exhaust system are you running? Single system or twin, how many silencers, that kind of thing.

Just that in that video it has a great tone to it, not too harsh unlike the others I've heard.

    Bet it's great fun!

  • That's the stuff..... :D

  • Tuff as Josh!

  • Nice, looks like its in a Cressida or an old Supra, am I right?

  • no its a hachi AE86 Josh Youngs to be precise.

  • fuck yeh
