  • what is is ? meat? vegetable? plant?

  • it's soybean, a plant

  • okay i see......well it looks interesting though.

  • does the nattao taste good??

  • @filzah102 its kinda bitter if u don't put any sauce on it though... trust me natto with soy sauce and green onions are AWESOME :)

  • I always love your videos, Kitty. I also love nattou and eat it often. It is so healthy and affordable :). I know it is unpopular for many people not familiar with Japanese cuisine, but it is really not that bad !

  • dam that look so good. i want to try iy

  • LOL

a friend of mine brought some over, wasn't really my kind of food but it was interesting

  • I've never heard of that before but when i go to japan i will try it ^_^

  • i am sorry but thats just plan nasty!

  • GROSS AND FULL OF BACTERIA

  • Now I'm really interested in trying nattou.

  • that is gross..sorry..lol but eating okra is kind gross too i guess.

  • i just luv your eating videos! XD! please make more im drooling! XD

  • You LIKE it? It's so bitter, though. I can only eat nattou on toast with a little vegemite on it. That way it's delicious, but otherwise, it's so bitter! How would you eat it to help with the bitterness? I want to eat it because it's so good for you, I just have to get past the flavor. :-/

  • This channel makes me so HUNGRY but I love it :D I love your videos kitty :)

  • kitty, semua video2 kamu yang mengenai makanan membuatku lapar aja.. XD

  • Looks gross, even though she looks good until she puts it in her mouth.

I was lost from that point on.

looks like something from a sci-fi movie.

    what is it made of?

  • soybean :D

  • It is my first time to see THE REAL NATTOU :)). It looks delicious :) I know nattou usually from japanese TV cartoon series such as Naruto or Crayon Shinchan :p~

  • nattoo...? 大好き。kitty...salam kenal!boleh berteman?

  • salam kenal. yoroshiku ne. :)

  • OMG. once, I ate it in Japan. It was sticky and all. I took a big spoonful of it. And PUKED.

  • LOL!

  • I thought it looked GROSS! but I want to try it anyway :P looks can be deceiving

  • Oh yes, it does look, smell, and taste gross for almost anyone who tried it the first time. I've gotten used to it ^_^

  • it looks SOOO good =]]'

Do you think I would be able to find it in an oriental Market?

  • Looks like you were in Houston, Why didn't you call me for a tour?

  • No, I've never been to houston, but my youtube friend who live in texas gave me the t-shirt as a present :D

  • cute video ^^;

  • This is a masterpiece!! Kitty-san.

    My worry actually became it.

I think that the chopsticks are long and heavy for you.

Natto will make you more beautiful (^_-)-☆

  • haha, it is hilarious hen the chopsticks fall thst the music stops.

  • I've tried nattou all of one time, just a tiny bit in a bowl with no extra flavorings or sauces or anything. While I wouldn't want to make a meal of it (at least not by itself like that), it wasn't nearly as bad as I'd been led to believe it would be. I might actually like it as part of a dish.

Thank you for another cute video. Looking forward to you next.

  • Was supposed to be "Looking forward to YOUR next," not "you next." Aug.

Oh, and the Texas shirt was nice. I live in Texas, so I was gonna notice that!

  • another cute video ^^

  • One day youtube will have a feature which allows you to taste things over the internet... then we can enjoy it with you kitty!

  • ahh what a sacrafice you had to make for this video, but at least you seem to enjoy the food ;).

I have never tried nattou before, but it looks good! First time I heard about nattou was when I read the manga, Shin-chan ahaha:)

  • some people are cleanig their teeth after eating, you must take a shower after it. haha

  • are u hindu because henna is a religious thing and should be worn by someone who is getting married

  • LOL at the falling chopsticks with the gluey nattou on it. ;) Actually, I'm sorry, but still I had to laugh. *ggg*

But I'd really like to eat nattou, however I don't think I can buy it anywhere around here.

  • the nori one is pretty good, the ume/shiso is good too, me and my hubby eat natto regularly so we do many combinations...natto/moroheiya, natto/okra, natto/raw egg/onions, natto/avocado, natto/takuan, etc.

  • which one is your fave? :D

  • Here in Qatar, people loves henna...!

  • I've always wanted to try nattou, but I'm scared of how it will taste lol. What does it actually taste like?

I also heard that many Japanese people actually don't like it?

  • Yep, not all people can enjoy nattou, it smells bad. But once you got used to it, you'll love it :D

  • the one i tried tasted like coffee...

not sure about the one kitty tried

  • Salam Bak Kitty.

    How are u ???

wow Natto, i just loved them... i just want to know.. there was once i eat Natto it tasted like Coffee a bit..

hmmm, i watched Iron Chef it says that u have to stir 15 times to get a good texture for Natto?

anyway any fermented beans are my fav...

talking about henna ?? did u try on ur hair ??

n will u use it in your wedding ?? like how Malaysia n some parts of Indonesia does it??

  • waalaikumsalam :)

I'm fine alhamdulillah, thank you. how are you?

I never counted how many times I stir the nattou, but yes, it's round about that number.

I haven't tried it on my hair, I didn't know I can do that. I'll try it later! :D

I might use it on my wedding, depends on whom I'm married with. hehehehe..

  • I am fine Alhamdulillah as well

it will make ur hair red (mostly suitable for people with white hair).. so u dont need a dye anymore.. it is HALAL fyi even for ur hair...

use it on ur wedding !! =P

it is common here in Malaysia... even some parts of Indonesia or it is already common there ?

  • You're so lucky, you get to eat all this cute Japanese food. Nyummyyy. I remember you ate some icecream and it's round with squishy stuff around it, like rice powder or something, what is that icecream called? I tasted it and love it but the brown and green one is gross. Haha.

  • Yukimi daifuku, the mochi one right? Yepp.. and now that summer is coming, new different kinds of ice creams are popping up in supermarkets! yay! ^_^

Lol, the brown one must be sweet bean paste and the green one must be matcha the green tea. Local taste, you might need sometime to like it. Or not. hehehe

  • I love mochi ice cream! My local Asian market only has been paste, strawberry, green tea and mango. I haven't tried the bean paste, but I liked the strawberry and mango. Next, I'll try green tea.

  • What is Nattou?

  • Fermented Soybean

  • I looooooove nattou! I bought some yesterday. Can't find the one with nori sauce in Canada though. Just the regular mustard & soysauce one. ;_;

  • why you drew hena over your body ??? getting marry !!!!!!

  • Lol, no, just to have fun :P

  • Henna tatoos are the most beautiful jewels on a lady skin. But be careful, as long as its colour is brown it's ok, when it becomes black, don't use it on skin, it's dangerous. Thanks for what you share with us, 10 * !!!

  • Thank you :)

    Don't worry, it's brown :D

  • did you say that drew hena on ur hand and feet, how did u make it? could you give me directions on how you did it?

  • First, draw the outline of your hand on a piece of paper, draw patterns in it.

Draw the pattern on your hand with henna paste while looking at the design you made on the paper.

Maybe I'll make an instructional video for this in the future ^_^

    Thank you
