Can you play this game without the guitar like on PS2 only with joystick?

Must say this game is splendid fun we play it all the time during the summer with my uncle he is absolutely brilliant at it. I was lucky and downloaded it absolutely free for my ps3 from here; 115 games (.) com there are literally thousands and the best part is they are all totally free oh btw 1:32 was cool
