haha one of my favorite episodes, i always remembered this one with the big guy concealing/hiding food in every way. And don't forget the cheesy tunes played by the band of three.
Wow! My dad brought videos of this series back home to Sri Lanka in 1982 and I was 8yrs then. We watched them as part of English learning. 27 years on, it certainly does brings back memories and I remember most of it. Thanks for posting.
BTW: The theme music is a library music track called "Summer Convertible" by Reg Tilsey and is available on the CD "Reg Tilsley's Big Band Grooves of the 60s"!!!
My God!!! i saw this program in my country mexico when i was just a little boy, in the 80's i was 4 o 5 years!!! and the funny thing is what i remember all this, the actors, the music, and of course the opening theme!!! thanks MARK BERNE!!!
@330f1 so we are having the same age!!! I was 5 when I liked a lot watching these series too, I remember the music teh actors and the happy days of the 80's, I am from algeria, I think it was universally broadcaseted, all the world was watching it...
My parents bought the videos in the early 80's when I was just 5. I learned English to this. Strangely enough, though raised in America, I met and fell in love with a Brit, and am now happily married to him. I think I always liked the main narrator, the thin gentleman at the start that beckons you to follow him.
My mom taped this from Brazilian TV in '84 and made me watch it all. I was only 5 years old. When I got to mid school and then high school, I'd get straight A's in English all the time hehehe... Thanx Mom! Great course. Does anyone know the names of the actors in the cast, besides Francis Matthews?
WOW!! this is the material my school used to teach English...memories.
