And save and have at least 8 months of savings? And how are they supposed to do that with no jobs and college costs rising? Considering that many have to get a student loan because they don't qualify for a financial aid or didn't win a scholarship it's not a very realistic advice

This goes to show you how hard the work world is. I'm not going to college....at all. People struggle to make ends meet everyday because of this economy and big corporate companies taking away jobs.

@dan020350 europe has youth apprenticeship programs... however, youth unemployment in countries like Spain, Greece, or Portugal are ridiculous!
