I know New York has many times the population of The Republic of Ireland so not sure how that calculates per head of population. Although over here they say, New York is now safer than Dublin or Limerick.

Cork Airport is relatively small so doesn't have a huge police force in it - although looks like they need to review that :) The guy only pulled in when he saw the arrival of the rest of the police officers. He wouldn't outrun them all!

But the funniest part was when the guy got out of the car and suddenly WAN MIRION police cars came rushing into the scene long after he got apprehended. Where were they while he was still inside the SUV?

@Nikon05 That's correct: he still had the knife in his hand. When doing his rampage on the apron he had the knife in his right hand outside the vehicle. In some other pictures we shot you see him waving with the knife at the officers.

@19jenko19 I think he was close to gotten "shot to shit" now also. Both the plains in front of us were fully tanked and at around 0:58 he drove under the left one. How mad can you be? I started filming after a few minutes: he then had already targeted quite a few Garda's who were running away. Minor detail: in those first minutes he was driving around on the tarmac another plane also landed...
I think he now knows, that a car cannot fly... no matter how fast it goes.
