haha if palin nalin win n america will be stupid country so maybe russians calling p.... country republicans are stupid, obama the best. nixon haha he go away earlier why everbody knows he s coruption man
I'll bet RMN also placed the Washington Times on his enemies list as well, their paper is frankly not much even today. If there is one remaining real newspaper, it is the Washington Times. That paper still reports fairly and balanced.
They weren't going to talk to FOX to begin with. Besides, when you are in bed with CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, Newsweek, Time...............then why would you need to worry about it?
One thing that stikes me about Nixon is that for all his faults he was definitely his own man. He wasn't controlled by special interest groups and deep down believed he was doing the right thing for America and not a bunch of fucking criminal profiteers and bankers like the puppet Presidents of today.
The more I study Nixon the more convinced I am that he wasn't controlled by the special interest forces that control modern American Presidents like Bush and Obama. Part of the reason is that those forces- the oil and Jewish lobbies in particular were not nearly as powerful then as they are today. Part of it however was the moral character of Nixon.
BTW if you're looking for great things from Obama you can forget it. He's completely sold out to the Jews.
I think "Dale" was Frank Dale. He was the editor of the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner, which was the afternoon paper in LA for years and years. Frank Dale was a big Nixon supporter throughout his rise in politics.
Nixon was incredibly perceptive and intelligent. Why in the hell should he have talked to the lapdog lying liberal full court press? They were out to get him from the start and were totally biased.
I love his hate for the liberal New York Times!

Can you imagine how much time Nixon wasted with crap like this instead of actually governing and dealing with issues that concerned the nation?

Why is he breathing so heavy on the phone to Haldeman? Haldeman was such a lap dog.

I love how Nixon pretty much called the irrelevance of newspapers 40 years ago in the media mix. He was a little ahead of the times, but, not much.

WTF, the Washington Times didn't even start publishing until 1982, so how could Nixon put it on his enemies list? Did you mean the Post?
stevel738 1 year ago
Sorry, I meant the Post (the paper Woodward and Bernstein worked for. The TIMES is a great paper, the POST is good for things other than accuracy.

Nixon was right. With that in mind Pres. Obama should not have anyone in his administration talk to FOX.

I wonder what Kissenger said in response to this. Probably his usual response, which always sounds like, 'Wuh-wuh-wuh-buh-wuh-wuh".

OK, so Nixon would have canned Kissinger for talking to the Times. I'd like to have seen him do it and then try to explain that to the public.

Nixon was sure as heck one arrogant man. Freezing out the press was not a smart move. Nor was lying to the American people

Whether he was malicious or not in his attitude I don't know. But he talked to the press when he was ORDERED not too.

Wow, Nixon sure did have a lot of pent up emotion in him (though he controlled it well).
And the stuff I've read about his paranoia/willing to battle, is very evident here.
