Thanks so much for uploading this vid I used to Haul supplies from montreal to Inuvik .back to Edmonton , I have lots of still shots of this in Winter / Spring .
Love this video, I did similar trip from Connecticut through US up Alaska HWY to anchorage then Fairbanks on Dalton HWY to Deadhorse and back.
Love the foliage. I like the music but in our car we had Howard Stern on most of the time we were laughing all the way because some of those days were tense on those unpaved roads and crap weather.
I've been dreaming of riding my motorcycle all the way from Chicago to the Arctic Circle since the day (2 years ago) I got my motorcycle driver's license. Hopefully, I can do it next year.
@JigoLigo dude I would recommend the trip but not on a motorcycle the weather is unpredictable even in the summer, and there is lots of wildlife on road especially on Alaska HWY. We did Alaska HWY then Dalton, it was tough in a car on a bike it would be intense.
Great vid! I live in Ontario on Georgian Bay and I'm gonna make this trip also before I die. I'd like to do it once in the winter and once in the summer. Beautiful! Gives you just a slight idea of just how sparsely populated Canada really is overall. We are like a few ants on this big beautiflu country called Canada.
Thanks again......I grew up in Fairbanks. Every year we would go to Boundary, Eagle and sometimes Dawson City......Gotta love youtube! I have got to re-visit lots of places !
Florida, USA---> Inuvik, NWT via Dempster Highway. I have a 2009 Hyundai Tuscon 4wd vehicle which is similar to the Toyota Rav4. What kind of equipment did you bring with you? Did you have to take extra gas cans?
Hi there! I'm really glad you are interested in my Dempster Hwy's video. So, my equipments for this road trip, I brought, spare tire and the quick repair kit for flat tires with air compressor, tow rope, GPS navi, electric inverter, Camping set, water and foods. then, at least you have better to bring, extra gas (approx.10 gallons=380km=236mi:Half way of dempster Hwy to EaglePlains for heading up north and go back), and Satellite telephone. Good luck!! I feel sorry for the latter :)
hi ! adventure driving, in a mud is unsafety , and in a dust is occured some troubles on the carburetor or engine(from experience) :P thank you for watching vid :)
hi,paved road is only some km:P and it took 2 days including return to Dawson, because of very slippy and muddy(oatmeal & chocolate pudding) road, ave. speed 40km/h swiming(~0~;)! thank you for watching that :D
Great vid. I did it last year, what an unforgettable experience it was. Far out, forever!!

Did you ever pass up or see anyone else while driving up?? My biggest fear would be having the car break down!

I'd like to drive this road someday but I'm not sure if I could handle the drive.
Plus, there really isn't a reason for me to visit Inuvik...

Would driving on a wet and muddy road be preferable to a dry and dusty one?
Myself I think I'd rather have the mud.
Great vid...A trip I'll never get to make but I can dream about though you, thanks.
