I got one today. The pictures online make it seem like it's shiny. IT'S NOT. And I guess people think it's smooth because they aren't avid cubers. The basic cube from Walmart is smoother than this. Mine is terrible. Hard to turn. I lubed it with silicone spray and it's still not smooth yet

i got mine and i was amazed. I thought because it was from a terrible movie that it would be terrible, but after 1 turn, I was like "OMG, THIS IS A GOOD CUBE!" It's faster than my icon cube and an eastshean cube
i was amazed when i bought my transformers rubik's..i was bored at a mall and when i opened it ...it probably the smoothest rubik's cube ive ever tried..didnt need lube and it still moves like a dream
@bondglitcher - Yeah, that happened to me too. But it was because one of my friends borrowed it and took the white side all off, and then put it back on. And right after I re-stickered it, too. If you want to see what it looks like now, check out my blog on my site (ehwhatproductions.weebly.com)
To a certain extent yeas, but it will end up making your cube pop all the time, making it virtually useless. :) Don't want to break the allspark. Stick with silicone spray.

Don't use Vaseline to lubricate your cube, eat will eat away at the cube's plastic, and will eventually wear away.
