  • I noticed that you signed where the lyrics say " like open doors" you signed "like" as in when you like something for it's taste, texture, etc. not "like" as in in similar, as it should have been.

  • Your amazing. Who gives a crap about what these people say.

  • Actually you guys, I saw that most of the signs WERE asl!

  • WHO CARES HOW SHE DID IT, AS LONG AS ITS 95% CLOSE AND THE PEOPLE WHO CANT HEAR IT CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT IT MEANS!

  • Even though it is SEE, you have a wonderful flow to your movement, it's like watching a dance! I really enjoyed it - keep up the good work. Expressive and fluid signers are so beautiful to watch - and you are both of those!

  • Leans more in ESL, but great job.

  • i know no sign language but the way you sign looks pretty and fluid. it goes nicely with the song... :)

  • yep, definitely Signed English :) if you know that you should change the title of the video :)... just saying. good job with the expressions though.

  • hey girl good job. my inlaws are deaf and regardless of what other people say, my mother in law who is deaf would tell you good job and keep up the good work. remember regardless of what others say, who are hearing, they are not deaf. but my people are, we all have stuff to work on. keep it up, good job.

  • looks mor like english than asl but good job!

  • i do not understand sign language but you made me start crying

  • ur right...i suck at fingerspelling!

  • awesomness, i liked it(:

  • good job (but the music in the background is really grainy)

  • Hey there! I always find it really fun to check out different signed versions of the same song. In fact, the more versions there are, the more I learn from them. Have you seen the ones by "Rockmusicrockall2" (just posted) and "aCOVENANTORtheWOLF?"

  • whats ur name i didnt really catch it. jamy? nice video!

  • I'm just learning ASL, but I noticed a few of your signs such as "LIke" were the incorrect forms. I tried my best but maybe my video will help. =)

  • I'm impressed. I'm learning ASL too and i've signed to songs before. Kudos to you for doing it. It's not the easiest thing in the world. But everything was so fluid and easy to follow. Good job. Where did you learn ASL?

  • You did a great job. Most Deaf people are not critical of signing, I know I have a lot of Deaf friends and they are always willing to teach and help. The ones on here that are critical of you are people that think their asl is perfect and are probably not Deaf so don't worry about it. You go girl and continue the great work.

  • I think it's really good. :)

  • i am surpise i read other people about your comment on this video. that was amaze that i am deaf and from british my BSL and you ASL and i couldn't describe about this so hear the music and sign same time i got more visulable i love music of evanescence i am great fan of her who name Amy Lee wow. that in british lots of deaf cant sign with music same time. i would said thank you for make me awake and i feel proud deaf in american that i want to learn sign ASL unlike in british i'd say thank u

  • love it

  • very good sign language that's awesome i can't sign very well but i understand it, i knew a deaf girl and i had to babysit her a lot so i learn quite a bit awesome vid your an amazing signer :D

  • very nice, your signing is a lot more fluid and expressive than many other "sign singers" on youtube.

  • very nice =]

  • Sorry, but I have to say. This is more english and less asl.

  • Nice job. This seems more SEE. Keep in mind that the words you use are "glosses," meaning it's just an approximation of a meaning. For instance, you signed "WITH OUT" as if they are separate. There is actually a sign for "WITHOUT." And when you signed "WAKE UP", the gloss "UP" is used as a direction like north. But good job none the less.

  • i am 13 yrs old and i am deaf....your signing is good but you need to keep your eyes open and use more facial exprestions! just some tips for next time!

  • The only things I want to point oit is when you signed "can't wake up, save me" you signed "not wake up" adnd "save" as in money.

Other than that, I thought this was awesome.

  • First whats wrong with signing not wake up for cant wake up? and two thats the way i learned save, there is a different sign for money! there no were close to each other! Thanks for the comment though

  • First, it just doesn't make sense, that's all. It would have been better to sign "can't" instead of "not". That's all I'm saying. Second, that IS the sign for save money. If you would have signed "protect" it, again, would have made more sense.

  • good signing im still lerning though. it's addicting to sing to songs

  • how old were you when you made this video and how long have you been learning asl for , well just for a student just learning you really good , i learn from looing at vids all the time

  • this is awesome lol this is so in my favs lol

  • oh my gosh. you have brought the two best things together into one. thank you so much

  • neat... i love it

  • good job felt the passion :)

  • that was really good and i love that song!

  • i didnt really see a problem with the letter e at all. some people sign it open and some closed...but its the same thing.

  • awsome awsome awsome! i loved it! (ok except for the letter E in the beggining) but the rest was great! great expression! great feeling! i love the phrase WAKE ME UP it looked like you had so much fun while doing this!

  • Thank you for the comment, but one question what do you mean by the letter E im confused! It might just being so tired tonight that im not seeing it!

  • same thing that crystal said. i just sign mine closed... all i was saying is that it took me a couple seconds to recognize what it was. it was my reading, not your signing :).. hope that clears it up.

  • yeah it dose lol i watched it a couple of times i was like huh? lol i understand i have a friend that signs it closed! we get so confused sometimes! lol

  • This is very SEE. Try to go for meaning more than word for word.

  • Yes it's very SEE~! Agreed. I have no clue what the song means- bec I am Deaf and i use ASL. I don't understand written English for songs; therefore, i dont understand the picture of SEE. I need ASL to understand! But it's a good song; looks like you had fun doing it! =)

  • Wow, me and my sister practically have this memorized. We love this video. Great Job.

  • Sexy sexy i have to say it again SEXY!!! Totally loved it good job :D

    -Love

    Jimmy
