i ve not seen the solution yet, but can somebody type me the challenge or what he says (before releasing the solution ofcourse). i dont get the accent as my mother tounge is not english :p
Close. I didn't start getting straight A's in ALL my subjects until the 4th grade through 12th grade (Yes, I was Valedictorian of my High School class, along with 3 of my siblings).
I did slack off in college as the years went by and my GPA there got so bad, I think it went negative! So I know how both ends of the spectrum feel like when it comes to earning grades.
they do its through honors classes (5.0 scale) and AP (advanced position [6.0 scale] in which you get college credit) there is still only one validictorian which is the person with the highest GPA
thats probrably one of those expieramental liberal hs that grades all woke subjectively (most likely a's to all students) and have to make everyone feel good by handing out awards like candy or it could be that 40 kids have identical gpa's which could happen
nah they stopped spellin tests in 6th grade.. i've never seen a spelling course in hs nice jab at my spelling errors though at least i still have a 3.7 gpa in college and an 1890 on my SAT sooo i dnt see ur point oh and yes its a fact about the high schools there are some out there (ran by liberals) who grade subjectively.. kids were sayin 2+2=5 and they were getting credit look it up jackass
High test scores and GPA are not true indicators of intelligence, as your comments clearly indicate.
Sorry, but by the way you express yourself, you are not a very bright person. It is easy to claim high scores, but you don't show this. I never took the SAT (just the ACT) and my college GPA eventually got so low, I think it went negative, but I like to think I am an intelligent person, and I like to think my writing shows this.
dude you are so ignorant im not gonna be writing formally on youtube cmon i type for speed and efficiency here not proper grammer.. you think im the dumb one but at least im passing college with a full ride scholarship. i do agree with you that gpa and test score dont accurately depict inteligence but it is a good standard to go by and you want an example of my writing.. fine i will send you a thank you letter i wrote to the people that provided one of my scholarships
I will let others who read these comments to determine who between the two of us is the "ignorant" one. I did not ask for formal writing, just proper. I type very fast, and yet I don't make many mistakes. I also go back and re-read what I typed before posting, to catch any errors I may have made. It is a good habit to get into.
Oh, I had my share of scholarships too. I am not interested in reading a thank you note your Mommy probably helped you write. Have a nice day.
where do u find them? just in case i want to do some to my friends or i can show them some of your videos and they would probly be inpressed with either one of them ! :)
I don't remember. I have collected them over the years. The Optical Illusions and "Find the Twin" problems are from a Clip Art collection. Do a search for Nova Development to find online.
i was thinking the solution COULD just be how the triangles were.. because mathmatically triangles have 3 sides right? so every time you rotate your head, you see a triangle.. so technically there are 3 triangles in a triangle.. but that cant be the answer because if you take how many triangles are in both triangles that would make 6 and not 8.. But possibly you can rearrange the sticks using the same way im using, but putting a few extra triangles.
This is slightly less impressive than the earlier square puzzles since you created incidental polygons in the solution. If you allowed extraneous forms in prior puzzles there would be many more solution models than were intended, I think. Still a cool set of videos though.
I got this one rite ^_^

Thats wrong. You said 8 equilateral triangles.2 are bigger then the others. Duh.
Skaterboy692 1 year ago
@Skaterboy692 They are still equilateral triangles. I did not say they had to be the same size.
videomathtutor 1 year ago 6
i keep getting 7 equalateral triangles
sk8rlt 1 year ago
equilateral mean ALL the sides the same not ALL the triangles the same. LOL

devious -.-
armadillodude 2 years ago
hmm... confusing video... i thought u said 8 equilateral.. meaning ALL of them have to be the same....
frelongty 2 years ago
If you don't know what equilateral means, it means that all sides are the same.
dryman2 2 years ago
Re: frelongty
If he said IDENTICAL, that means ALL of them haz to be the same size, but he said just "..8 EQUILATERAL TRIANGLES.."
Teh1337man 2 years ago
@frelongty equilateral means all sizes the same
bluedust80 1 year ago
@bluedust80 Equilateral means the sides of an individual triangle are all the same. The triangles themselves may be different sizes.
videomathtutor 1 year ago
@videomathtutor sorry i didn't mention that also i got alot of your brain teaser right.
LOL i like the soultion becasue i did the same thing but i did not count the two big triangles

let me guess, through elementary school and high school, you got an A in math class every semester! :P

You still shouldn't feel any shame....Valedictorian is VERY hard to achieve.
Qwubs 2 years ago
Well, I read these days it is not that hard. When a school has 40+ Valedictorians, I suspect it practices grade point inflation.
videomathtutor 2 years ago

1FastfingersMcgee1 2 years ago
There can be more than one Valedictorian. I read about a H.S. that had 40+ at the same time. That is just wrong.

The Brain Teasers are made for fun.

do u come up with them, or............?
ikemjeri 2 years ago
No, I did not invent these. They are classic Brain Teasers that are probably over 100 years old. I do plan to come up with one or two of my own soon.

Just a neutral question: are you allowed to make a shape besides the squares that are asked for?
Felgrand101 2 years ago
Huh? There are no squares in this problem. You can have other shapes besides triangles, as long as you get the 8 ones I asked for.
videomathtutor 2 years ago
Sorry for mentioning the squares. My bad. Of course I meant the triangles. But thanks.
