  • Ha! I expected this to be bad, based on some of the comments of the music and what not, but I thought it was great! I would have loved to have heard some nice two-stroke airplane engines, but that was cool! Sheesh, most people put noise made by idiots yelling the same three words over and over on their videos these days... Goes to show you that often times the commenters are the morons, rather than the posters.

  • Lol you haters

  • I lol'd

  • Well the uploader never said it was close! Give him a break!

  • Looks like fun... I am pretty sure that was a C-17 though.... Who cares.... it's fun to be up there with the big boys either way.

  • @Mr67Stang

nah its a C-5 there are no winglets and you can kinda see the double boogie MLG too.

  • great shooting, great music. did it bother you when you saw the shadow?

  • I don't get it. What's the big deal? Jaws music, an ultralight, and a C5 off in the distance.

  • love it. I dont care what they think its a joke. geez lightn up people. nice flying video dude!!! oh where can i find a pod that goes on the front for an mx2? to make it semi-enclosed.

  • That's not a near-miss, it's a far-miss.

  • Lol. Nice music

  • JAWS music lol

  • was that supposed to be close? u motherfucking bandwidth waster

  • HA HA agreed great Music and the fact you could have flow the ultralite THROUGH that C-5's cargo bay

  • This is a very bad title!! Not unlees the c5a is a model airplane or that is one giant MX!!!

  • that was not close at all. if the ultralight was close it would have been wadded up by the wake turblance!

  • that was not near the jumbo jet.

  • wouldnt wanna go through his wake in an ultralight

  • Zoinks Scoob! that was way too close! :p

  • I blame the niggers.

  • haha they've got about 3k ft vertical there, nothing like a near miss.

  • fail

  • whut ?! Near miss ?! go to hell with your fucking ultralight aircraft... you guys think your so hot going 60 knots.. WoW wath out your gonna blow your engine..

  • there is no uae of that language!!!!!

  • F-ing ultralights! You guys as well as hot air balloons are a menace to the skies.

Always flying where you aren't suppose to be, (are you honestly buzzing around under an approach path? What is going through your head? Anything? Probably just whistling air between your ears right?)

You should all have your licenses revoked for stupidity.

  • Yeah! And no transponder either! TCAS is worthless...

  • True, but would that ultralight could fly into the engines and not touch the sides!! XD

    No one would ever know..

  • "...You should all have your licenses revoked for stupidity...."

They already have, that's why they're flying ULTRALIGHTS!! Two things you don't need to fly ultralights.. A license or brains.

  • tex you could not have said that better

  • @texNoz you do need a license to fly ANY MANNED AIRCRAFT IN THE USA

  • Comment removed

  • I didn't say anything at all about LSA I made mention of ULTRALIGHTS and they are in a different catagory all together.

Any true part 103 ultralight requires NO LICENSE to fly.. Do your homework before correcting me please.

  • Very true.

  • Ultralights aren't classified as aircraft

  • @shane71880 you don't need any sort of license to fly an aircraft that is light enough to fit in the "Ultralight" catagory

FAR Part 103.7 Section "B" Notwithstanding any other section pertaining to airman certification, operators of ultralight vehicles are not required to meet any aeronautical knowledge, age, or experience requirements to operate those vehicles or to have airman or medical certificates.

  • @tehcurti ok thanks for the info I misunderstood thanks for the info now Im getting one

  • WOW! That was close. Probably within 2 miles. HaHa.

  • nowhere near close

  • I agree. Thats normal seperation. A mile or two.

  • Where did you get the soundtrack?Airport??

  • i think it Jaws

  • Think so to

  • Now Dougal, these cows are small, these cows are far away.

  • Cheesy enough?

  • dude he would have blown u right out of the sky

  • lol the song is so funny with this weird vid.. um...

  • uhh if that was a RC C-5 you would have been close but thats not RC you were separated by about 1000ft-4000ft

  • ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha........

  • Not interesting at all.

  • not even close

  • that is not a near miss.

  • people its so obvios what happened Ultralight Aircraft

  • I get it the 747 took a shit on the Ultralight Aircraft

  • I though ultralights can fly only 3 feet high.

  • funny.. I got the joke...

  • I'm glad somebody did!

  • Not even close..

  • cool vid i'd love a go of one of those ultralight things

  • Zzzz

  • They were like 300 meters away at least.

  • geez its not event that close

  • You were at like 1500 feet where the jet was at 7000-10000. Nowhere close. Good try though.

  • lol looks like they are flying together

  • Lol jaws music xD

  • FINALLY! Someone with a sense of humor!!!

  • for real..anyone who know jackshit about planes know s that those planes were far apart....it was obviously a joke, i found it entertaining

  • Those aren't planes!!! except the c-5

  • hey could you send me the music? thanks! great video!

  • OMG IF TEH PLANE WAS LIKE 2000 FEET CLOSER IT WUD HAVE CRASHER TEH ROXXXOR n00b!!!!!! OMFG deh l33t skillz m0f3 :O:O:O 8-(

  • I'm not sure, but this looks like two different film clips put together. The two aircraft in the video match each other with their movements within the frame as the camera was shaking. Do to parallax error, the further away aircraft(jet) should be steadier than the closer one~ similar to how the moon follows your car while you drive, but the trees pass quickly in front of you. The two aircraft are shaking equally. Case solved...

  • thats what i was thinking...

  • I'm going to turn you into the FAA. How's that for humor? Just kidding. ?? hahahaha!

  • My friend was flying a King Air 200 on approach into Atlanta. She got caught in the vortices of a heavy in front of her. It spun the King Air around in a loop, but they managed to recover.

  • First off, thats a C-17 Globemaster II, 2nd, not a near miss, not even close. At least 2000ft seperation, and 3rd if it was a near miss, meaning they were in controlled airspace, the next scene would have included goose & maverick in a pair of 16's on intercept and ID.

  • First off, Goose & Mav flew in the same jet, 2nd, not in 16's but in 14's.

  • OMG, get your facts straight before you post anything, it is definately a C-5 and not a C-17, and by the way a C-17 is a globemaster 3 not 2!

  • waow how cool is that!

  • not very, the C-5 was A mile away at closest, if it had been a near miss the slipstream of the C-5 would have ripped the Ultralites to pieces.

  • jeay you have a point.

  • Yah. Remember the telephoto effect of 'fore-shortening' will make the farther plane look closer. It effects objects farther away more than objects up close. So, since it looks like about a mile, I'd stretch that even further to 1.5 miles maybe.

  • Zactly!

  • a 2000m near miss

  • doesnt look like a near miss 2 me no where near

  • Where was this taken? To me looks like its near Perris California...

  • YA ITS PERRIS.. OR MARCH AIR FORCE BASE

  • CRAZY!!! But is really?
