i really dont wanna be mean. but we always wondered, do u know of any puerto rican teams that have kids on their teams that are too old? like a 15 year old on a 14s team? cuz i always hear things about it

@SuperMuaha We understand your worries, the same happens to us when we see a 6' 05" tall 15 yr. old from California with a bear on his face... but at the end it's all about the competition cuz we practice in a 8' height net from the 14 yrs. to overcome our lack of height.

But, again, and PLEASE don't take this wrong, ask for their birth certificates and you'll see, we don't mess with cheating or cheaters.

@SuperMuaha A coach that approves that type of practice (common in Dominican Republic, Cuba and Mexico) will get involved in the new Anti-Terrorist laws and could face not only a life suspension of any tournament but life in prision. What we do is place 13 yrs kids to play with 14yrs. and 14 yrs. with 15 yrs. and 15 yrs. with 16 yrs. The next tournament you can ask to any of the chaperones for the birth certificate and they can show you it cuz they carry a copy of them just in case

That's not posible cuz each kid has to provide an original birth certificate to the PRVF (Puerto Rico Volleyball Federation). Most of the teams that travels to competitions in the US are formed before our local PRVF tournament (tournament goes from March to May), so this mean that each kid goes throuh the PRVF inspection of documents and approval. As part of USA the Federal laws apply in Puerto Rico as any other of the 50 States and this basically means Fraud with an Official documment..cont.

yeah, my favorite thing is when there is a team that isnt exactly better than the other team skillwise, but wins because they play so much better as a team. My team right now, we have all known each other since we started playing as 12's and we beat our completely beastly 16-1s recently because we play together better.

@fanarty Agree 100%, space limitations did not allow me a better angle, on the other hand I beleive that I need to get a new HD video camera for sharper images and this type of events.
