Criticism is a necessary evil, but i can see where you're coming from. Some critics tend to forget the fact that their work inevitably boils down to what they like and take themselves way too seriously. And the attitude of "I'm more important than you because i'm a complete hard-ass" does make you feel like chopping their balls off, cooking them, and making them eat their genitals and make a review on it.
Interesting I picked to watch this episode today. I just read an article in the NY Times about how Michelin just published its first guide for Tokyo. The guide lists 8 thre-star restaurants, which is quite a few more than in NYC, but only one is French cuisine. The article notes that many restauraters refused the Michelin rating because they did not like the rating concept or having foreigners judge Japanese cuisine.
Whao... This is epic...

He only gave his restaurant 2 stars? Then why didn't he bring a 3-star chef?
