You know, I think the photo of Sylvester McCoy in "Ghostlight" (the one you used - a promo photo) is the best one of him as the Doctor - very appropriate, stern and the like. I wish he had a chance to delve in the darker side of the Doctor.

Ofcourse, it's going to go up to infinite numbers now the TimeLords dont exist anymore - they were the ones who imposed a limit on the regenerations. without them to stop you from doing it, you can keep on going... the BBC wont get rid of their most popular programme because of a stupid line said twenty years ago.

Why is it that when clips have chronological images of the various Doctors,including Paul McGann,no one seems to include Peter Cushing ? Love it or hate it,he did star in TWO motion Pictures.

apparently Cushing's Doctor character and companions were close enough to Hartnell and co. that he was ruled "part of" Hartnell's sequence and thus equivalent to Richard Hurndall, who stood in for Hartnell in the 5 Doctors in '83.

That said, if McGann is willing, I'd like to see him brought back to backfill some stories so he doesn't look "accidental."

The truth is that Warner brothers didn't want to get into trouble with BBC for Copyright Reasons. That's why 'The TARDIS' is called 'TARDIS'. Why the Theme was not used & Why the Characters (names were the same, but) were completely different. There WAS to be a Third Film. There's Even some Test Footage left over you can see on DalekMania of Daleks on Skaro flying around building a new city! But the BBC Caught on by then & Demanded a 50% ©Profit Share. So it was pulled. That's what I heard.
