I guess they feel inferior in some way. Kinda like Indians with their caste system, where the whiter your skin the more superior you are... They become so desperate to look "white", that they even bleach their skin... Sad stuff.

Even in Europe they used to think whiter skinned people were more beautiful because then they wouldn't be working in the fields like all the other peasants around them. it's not about the superiority. I find it sad how hypocritical Westerners can be when women there are more concerned about boob size and body fat and think that skin tone is way worse than that.
