X1 will be a better device for serious business use, especially if you need to do a lot of typing emails on the go.

If you just need to be able to access your emails, either will do fine. Both have a large application library, but you'll find more fun ones on iPhone and more productivity ones on Windows Mobile.

For every day consumer usage... it's all down to personal preference. Winmo is more customisable, but iPhone is just a nicer interface (and slightly better browser) out of the box.

but the hardware isnt very impressive

if your looking for a more business type of use, i say go for x1

if your buying for just software features, then iphone

but i rather have an ipod touch and a x1, adds up to around the same price

u got a thumbs up because im sure many people are in the same boat. Right now i cant decide between the x1 and 3GS. There are pros and cons to both, with neither of them being perfect for me, yet they both remain better options than anything else on the market.

yes it can, the xperia x1 has internet acces (wi-fi or 3g)

just go the youtube(dot)com and search for a video. then it will open in some sort of media player

the silver version has a slight 'crack' in the design. (i have the silver version but it doesnt really bother me =P) with the black version, that 'crack' is sealed with some kind of rubber rim i've heared..

@5i2, you can tap with your fingers, but on the internet some links/fonts or kinda small so you need to use the pin (thats alot easier)

U can use "freeUP ram" and "SKtools" to make it faster if u don't satisfied with the speed of the phone..

I'm good with the original speed..

Don't judge so badly if u not own it..

Yeah, I don't really see the point either. I like that you can basically replace the home screen, but I found myself sitting on one particular panel, never really switching.
