  • Orig poster - did you setup your guitar since the video ?

  • Have you tried diferent interfaces and felt diferences in noise? Sorry for the long text. Thanks!

  • Damn! Nice sound! All my guitars have a small baground noise through my interface (lexicon alpha) and some have dimarzios, this is specialy noticable in high gain, although it is a very litle low hiss it is anoying to me because i know it is always there while playing =/ and the noise gate only cuts when i'm not playing. But now listeing to your sound it is cristal clear even with gain! If it was a interface problem i would buy another one but i cant be sure, it might be my house AC current.

  • line-in does work but if you have a crappy sound card (like my macbook), it will not sound good, plus it will lag like crazy

do a google search for "USB audio interface", those are cheaper than firewire. i personally use the Rig Kontrol 3, which is designed to be used live with GR3.

  • w/o the fret rattle the cleaner sounds may be a bit better

  • im not sure what you mean by "fret rattle" (im not native english speaker) do you mean the sound of the string touching the frets like if my string action was too low? :)

  • yes lafronde, when clean you can here the string vibrating against a fret - could be because of too low of action, trussrod out of adj, uneven fret / neck sustain longer

music man has a bit of info on their site (FAQ) , if it's cool to you, don't worry about it

    play on frets 1 - 5 on the A and Lo E string, that's

  • This really shows guitar rig 3 potential...
