  • welcome to caspers house

  • last one is absolutely haunted

  • i think its chernobyl

  • is this city chernobyl

  • f I am ever in a situation, where I'll think I'll be homeless.... I'll move to Detroit and live in one of those abandoned apartments!

  • So, let's see. We have Battleship Island, Pripyat and the one with the beach is something to do with Turkey or some two countries, one of them losing ownership of that portion.

  • @Madrigos just for the records the city next to the sea is located in cyprus and the name of the city is Famagousta (ammohostos). The city remains in the green line between the greek cyprus which is the official government and the turkish territory which is not recognized as country!the city supposed is under negotiations about the side should be on !Obviously almost 30 years past from that war and the city remains there as a ghost city.A strong evidence about the Turkish cruelty !

  • @Kostaspornmaker Thank you very much! I knew I remembered something. It's considered a DMZ, right?

  • @Madrigos That's exactly mate a demilitarized zone!only UN are allowed to use that zone!Tragic story, you can watch some quite interesting videos from the turkish invasion in Cyprus.

  • was the first city battleship island ?.

  • So sad that there are many in the USA that are homeless, it would be good for them to start a new home in an abandon city, but not Prypiat. No one can be that town for no more than 15 minute with out being expose to all that radiation.

  • 0:52 cod 4 any one?

  • 49 secends in

  • cod 4 map lol exactly

  • the real bad times are coming soon!

  • what happend to it

  • 0:48-0:58 isn't that Chernobyl? Its located in the Ukraine right?

  • is it just me or does the city snow view of 0:53 to 0:56 looks like the one from cod

  • @italo101692araujo thats pripyat in the ukraine

  • at :28 seconds why was it blocked off in the first place.?.

  • these cities could solve the housing problem in london.afros would love it

  • 50 seconds is from call of duty

  • @nightcrawler511 Or that place is where call of duty 4 took its environment from

  • @Inversion24 yea hthats what i meant

  • From beginning to 0:55 Reminds me of Call Of Duty 4 LOL

  • 1:06 reminds me of dead city in rage

  • @mryellow123 Thanks for clarification.

  • Call of Duty 4

  • Also there is Famagusta Cyprus taken by the Turks.

  • City is Chernobyl. It's abandoned due to radiation leakage from the Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor accident.

Interestingly, it hasn't stopped wildlife from moving in, and they seem to be doing okay. I believe scientists are monitoring the area and testing the animals, but haven't heard the results (i.e. how affected they are by the radiation).

  • @NewbieCamper Some of the images are Chernobyl, like the ferris wheel and Russian apartment blocks, but it's 600km from the sea. I believe the island one is Gunkanjima Japan.

Not as much monitoring work going on with Chernobyl and surrounds as you'd like to believe.

Was a nuclear industry propaganda doco awhile back trying to claim the lower level exposures were actually healthy but scientific consensus is now that it's linear and even small amounts have ill effects.

  • why is it abandoned?

  • @emily19981 which one ?

  • @emily19981 because of the radiation from the Nuclear reactor acccident. its really creepy...

  • excellent work you captured something, love the castle

  • free houses ; )

  • @008Sajid800 sure... if your willing to die of radiation poisoning

  • i seen the power plant poor rusians

  • I recognized Prypiat as well

  • this is only known from cod4 GET A LIFE THIS IS THE REAL THING

  • where are soap and price

  • thata pripyat in ukraine where the cheronobyl happened

  • @TrowbridgeHardcore It wasn't THE Chernobyl silly. Chernobyl is the area, on the border of Pripyat :)

  • zombies???? hehehe

  • what is this song!?!!?!? im diggin it!!!

  • @420deftonestoner goof poop im lovin it it

  • unfitting music?

  • Shitt I wonder what's the reason people abandoned these buildings I'm sure there is an intresting story behind it...

  • @realstation When chernobyl exploded it was contaminated with radiation

  • @sallacjpko2008 thats some crazy stuff tnk u

  • 0:23 is Famagusta!

  • i'd buy off the place at 1:00 and make a mansion out of it :)

  • Where is the city at in the middle of the sea in the 1st 10 secs in the video

  • @leno140 Hashima island Japan ...so creepyyy

  • @ChipsALaChocolat It's amazing, that... A whole fucking ISLAND abandoned after it got developed to hell. A monument to the incredible depths of human wastefulness.

  • @YukoAsho ikr...

  • all because of nuclear fallout from one nuclear powerplant thats why im soo glad here in new zealand we dont use nuclear power for that very reason our countries ahead of anitnuclear power

  • @FrazzyNZ so what are your generating stations powered by?

  • @carnage93ga water and wind we dont need nuclear power at all

  • there alot of cities around the russian republic that are abandoned and alot of buildings just left there

  • It's Pripyat near Chernobyl in Ukraine, abandoned after the catastrophy of nuclear power station.

  • wot accident

  • 0:52 cod 4

    0:20 i am ledgend

  • Why was it abandoned? If due to radiaTION, why are you there, silly!

  • y it a ghost town y no one live there ?

  • Is that Bloc?

  • cool vid but it would be better if they had name descriptions...

  • @jettenjetta thats Alcatraz island

  • @TheB52freak No it is not Alcatraz. It is an island off the coast of Japan called Hashima. They mined for coal straight down through the island and the workers lived there.

  • @justincowen441 Thanks for the correction

  • whats the town that looked like it was on and island? Fence around it? The first town on the video? Looks nice condos and all

  • @jettenjetta It is Famagusta.

  • The homeless should be sorted!

i love abandoned buildings. and places like this on a massive scale is just a playground to me

  • 0:51 thats where they got the call of duty 4 map from :D

  • Whats the song name?

  • it would be easier if you named the cities on the vid man

  • Florida has built plenty the past decade and still no residents.

  • ahhhh at 0:55 its the dreaded ferris wheel on vetran on COD4:MW

  • @TheSubLevel lol thats the same thing i thought

  • in cod 4 is a city like that 1 on 0:51

  • @djjuul1 because this is the city that COD4 and that perticular missio is based in lol

  • WHAT WAS THE ACCIDENT

  • @wildonessoccerpro isnt chernybol the accident?

  • @wildonessoccerpro nuculear power plant exploded in chernobal city waz abandoned because of high radiation levals.

  • 50.000 people used to live here, now it's a ghost town

  • i knew pripyat will be in it

  • CoD4?

  • Some pics from cyprus at the start

When the turks invaded the greek cycriots abandoned a coastal city

  • Where is the "stairway to hell"?

  • What city is at 0:16?

  • Alcatraz is not abandoned nor a city, its an island that used to be the hardest to escape but now its shut down and open to tourist for about 50 dollars or something like that

  • @kingstog209 if you're refering to the island at 0:15 it's not Alcatraz but Hashima island

  • @verik2kk actually, the pre-accident population was 49,400, not 100,000. The projected population was to be 78k in coming years.

  • Song name: Radiohead - i wish i was..bulletproof

  • Abandoned because of Chernobyl?

  • 0:51 im sure thats a level from COD 4

  • @TheAwkwordPair Its accully Chernobyl. But it does look like it.

  • @TheAwkwordPair It is. They used the city for one of the levels :)

  • @TheAwkwordPair yeah it is.

  • 0:24, 0:40 Cyprus famagusta european area, occupied from the turkish army

  • music is depressing

  • 50,000 people used to live here...

  • alot of these are from pripyat, ukraine, which was close to the chernobyl plant. people get confused and call it russia, because at the time of the explosion, ukraine was part of the soviet union

  • @will2993

    oh yeah, it is.)

    glad someone knows such details

  • @will2993 Yes you're right. I will also travel to pripyat/chernobyl in a few months. I hope for good capture for a documentation.

  • @verik2kk Well, when the accident happened, it was in Russia's hands... And, it would had been considered to be part of Russia as well then...

  • Overpopulation my ass.

  • how dare man do this - build then desert leaving them abandoned ? man is a disgrace to the universe and deserves to be erradicated

  • @sweetypie000 So set a good example for mankind and start with yourself...

  • @6redline3 i'll follow by example :)

  • @sweetypie000 Typical LIBERAL....Go Figure...

  • @6redline3 sorry i don't have a demolition crew tucked away up my asshole to facilitate your request but i'm not a multi-billion dollar corporation like the people that built these monstrosity and let rust and decay

  • @sweetypie000 WOW... First the accusations, then profanity and assumptions, whats next? wait, let me guess...more rhetoric and name calling... HERE LIBBY, LIBBY, LIBBY!!!

  • @6redline3 hey, if the facts hurt it's not my fault !

    :D

  • 0:18 Alcatraz? That's not a city!

  • @i305guy alcatraz is a third the size of that at best, it is an island in japan, pure city buildings on the sea, google for Hashima Island

  • heh

  • That last building looks like my old apartment in Baltimore...

  • These are beautiful in their own twisted way.

  • it's a city in Ukrania, after the chernobyl accident was abandoned. sure you can get a free house there, once you bypassed the guards and you accepted you and your children will die of a horrible death :)

  • Does anyone know WHY this place is abandoned? Where is this place?

  • can i get a free house in one of those cities ? cool

  • guys most scenes in the video, the ones where you can see a wonderful beach and hotels , are in Famagusta (AMMOXOSTOS) in Cyprus. My mother's house is in that area but she is not allowed to return back to her place since the Turks have invaded and fenced the area (it's been 36 years now). The most beautiful place in Cyprus is crying alone and the people who lived there are in pain for 36 years now. We need the whole world to know. It's really unfair. Our Hope will never die. We shall return...

  • famagusta! <3 such a shame :/

  • it's not in Russia, it's in Ukrain. and the city it's Prypiat who was the dormitory town of Chernobyl 's nuclear power plant

    /watch?v=mhnt2JFUvjY

  • HELLO - it was ONLY ONE abandoned city near Chernobyl, Russia, THE RUINS OF AN ABANDONED MEDIEVAL MONESTARY, AND ALCATRAZ ISLAND!!!

  • @Arthurianwarp Chernobyl is in Ukraine not Russia

  • @TheDanrox110 Sorry - I am 44 yrs old... When I was in High School, we were basically taught that Russia and the USSR were the same thing... that Russia was the only privileged Republic in the Soviet Union, all of the other's were supposed to be subservient to Russia...(being captured countries from long before the Bolshevik Revolution) At least that's what we were led to believe.
