@WoWFTWimo The truth is everything was worse in vanilla i can tell you srsly wake up EVERY SINGLE QUEST (almoast) kill theese tigers pick up theese flowers..... Maybe raids was abit harder but the boss mechanics was so unbelivable boríng compared to wotlk and upcoming cataclysm m8:P And when u reached lvl 60 it wasn´t much you could do;S it was alot of 10 year old scrubs in vanilla to i can tell it´s just more clear now days with 12mil peaple compared to 4 million sorry 4 bad english btw;)

You had to work for boss kills, gear and making a name for yourself, The moment you ninja looted or had done something similar, that was your char gone from raiding in any guilds on that server. People were more respectful and kinda back then a shame to see that go... Also what item would the other 39 people roll for? :P
@Andreas16375 Not as much no, what was the last boss you had to farm certain resistance gear for? or spend weeks upon weeks trying to kill? The HC's and Hardmodes have done a good job making things difficult, but it has nothing on The older raids.

@Andreas16375 I'm not linking you shit, I don't have to prove anything to you, raidings still fun and a challenge now, but a high % of the people who have played in a hardcore guild in all the expansions will no doubt tell you the same. I have a full 25 man HC icc Clear with my guild, I don't raid now in cata properly with other real life commitments, but so far my guilds making progress through HC raids now and with no problems. Raids were just simply harder back then than they were now.
@Andreas16375 Right now I've just started University, with a full time job and a social life, Which my friend! doesn't make Hardcore Raiding easy or achievable for the new Cata raids, but don't fear I'm still social in wow with 2 days played at 85 with 5 bosses pugged. If you like Pre-tbc, then you will LOVE "ANCIENT AZEROTH" , that server has blizzlike rates on everything, working bgs, working instances,... will release raidinstances just like Blizz did, they have a nice staff. and NO VOTING/DONATING REWARDS THAT MAKES UR CHARACTER OP!!!! WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
40 man raids was removed because ppl complained about it being to hard to gather 40 ppl, now the same people say they want the 40 man raids back because the current wow is to easy and boring rofl
WoW has more player now then ever before, they aren't going to change a winning concept =P The easier it is the more kids will pay to play !
Well the more casual players, like Burning Crusade was still hardcore with ALOT of lvl 70s never doing the raids because they needed uber gear and a good guild and they needed to invest several hours a day =O Now when you can go into raids with only 10 persons casual players will get to see the raid to, The easier it is for casual player the more will come the more caching =) I didnt mean to offend you sorry

Man, I joined shortly before BC came out and never got to do any of the lvl 60 stuff. Now I'm about 61 and 62 and am just NOW doing that when WotLK stuff is in! I wish I could've joined then...
I'm interested as to where you got that information, hence no blue post has ever confirmed such a thing. The only confirmed thing as to the progression of the World of Warcraft frachise was in a blue post FAQ for patch 3.1.1 where it was specifically states that the Warcraft franchise will in some form continue.

No blue post has never made a statement and confirmed the release of any such expansion you sick fuck. - The mostly likely future PATCHES (Not expansions.) is Uldum (In Tanaris.) and Emerald Dream, whereas Emerald Dream in and of itself is definitely not a franchise World of Warcraft would dedicate an entire expansion to. The only likely EXPANSION that would likely be made is to implement the following, still missing parts of WoW: Graymane, Nazjatar and Undermine. xP
got this information future expansions posssibilities: The emrald dream, The Great Sea wich will unlock lots of islands liek undermine and Maelstorm, Old Azeroth ( 1s and 2S war) new zones like Lordaeon, Quel talhas, Dalaran, and theres still other ideas burt not going to spam more

The expansion ideas written in wowwiki are what is "fan fiction" and is not actual. World of Warcraft franchise has been confirmed to continue, but fact of the matter is that the graphics need to be updated at one point, so a logical ASSUMPTION would be that the Warcraft franchise will continue, however not in the form of World of Warcraft, but rather a new game. My personal guess would be Warcraft 4 to add some new lore base, then another MMORPG to pick where it left off. But that's just me.
Or just World of Warcraft 2. This IS Blizzard Entertainment we're talking about here. And really, as far as graphics are concerned, you're generalizing the need for updated graphics based on newer MMOs and other mainstream games. It's entirely possible that they could keep the same ideal of graphics and keep the same fan-base, along with adding a bit more features along with expansions. The 10 million accounts (possible 8million + alt accounts) show a general appreciation for what they have.

Last night a lv80dk, lv80pally, lv79pally, 2xlv76hunters(me,lol), & a lv70rogue went in MC & conquered it! It was awesome for my first time that i want to do it again until I'm exalted w/Thorium Brotherhood:) I also tamed my core hound from MC & is my favorite pet! but I still can't believe Ragnaros had 1,000k+ hp!? ya, I would have like to play prebc, but when I found out about WoW the BC xpac had been out already for like 3 days, then by the time I actually got the game I think Kara was out. I think the switch from 40 to 25 was a good one. My guild was the top guild on our server a couple years back (I don't play anymore ATM), and we could ALWAYS get 25 people to show up, but we'd have to wait like an hour sometimes to get 40 online and there. A lot of times we were doing BWL attempts of razormaw and stuff with 35 people.
Sure, we could've recruited more people, but it was hard to find people who didn't suck.
Making more 10 mans was also probably a good thing for everyone.
i loved pre-bc it was amazing... but u have to admit at a time every1 would b geared and have nothing really left to do with the game. the expansions were pretty cool too imo :)

I'm interested as to where you got that information, hence no blue post has ever confirmed such a thing. The only confirmed thing as to the progression of the World of Warcraft frachise was in a blue post FAQ for patch 3.1.1 where it was specifically states that the Warcraft franchise will in some form continue.

No blue post has never made a statement and confirmed the release of any such expansion you sick fuck. - The mostly likely future PATCHES (Not expansions.) is Uldum (In Tanaris.) and Emerald Dream, whereas Emerald Dream in and of itself is definitely not a franchise World of Warcraft would dedicate an entire expansion to. The only likely EXPANSION that would likely be made is to implement the following, still missing parts of WoW: Graymane, Nazjatar and Undermine. xP

The expansion ideas written in wowwiki are what is "fan fiction" and is not actual. World of Warcraft franchise has been confirmed to continue, but fact of the matter is that the graphics need to be updated at one point, so a logical ASSUMPTION would be that the Warcraft franchise will continue, however not in the form of World of Warcraft, but rather a new game. My personal guess would be Warcraft 4 to add some new lore base, then another MMORPG to pick where it left off. But that's just me.

Or just World of Warcraft 2. This IS Blizzard Entertainment we're talking about here. And really, as far as graphics are concerned, you're generalizing the need for updated graphics based on newer MMOs and other mainstream games. It's entirely possible that they could keep the same ideal of graphics and keep the same fan-base, along with adding a bit more features along with expansions. The 10 million accounts (possible 8million + alt accounts) show a general appreciation for what they have.

Last night a lv80dk, lv80pally, lv79pally, 2xlv76hunters(me,lol), & a lv70rogue went in MC & conquered it! It was awesome for my first time that i want to do it again until I'm exalted w/Thorium Brotherhood:) I also tamed my core hound from MC & is my favorite pet! but I still can't believe Ragnaros had 1,000k+ hp!? LOL (sweet vid)

ya, I would have like to play prebc, but when I found out about WoW the BC xpac had been out already for like 3 days, then by the time I actually got the game I think Kara was out. Prebc sounds really cool, but I think Blizz should make another Warcraft III, cause I've played it and it beats the shit out of WoW...anyways, gj guys on Ragnaros.

I played back at those days, and i've got to tell you it was soooo incredibly awesome. No other game has ever given me such a good feeling but wow in the times of killing ragnaros. I really wish they never launched the expansions because after the expansions I never got the same awesome gaming experience form WoW again... :(

I think the switch from 40 to 25 was a good one. My guild was the top guild on our server a couple years back (I don't play anymore ATM), and we could ALWAYS get 25 people to show up, but we'd have to wait like an hour sometimes to get 40 online and there. A lot of times we were doing BWL attempts of razormaw and stuff with 35 people.
Sure, we could've recruited more people, but it was hard to find people who didn't suck.
Making more 10 mans was also probably a good thing for everyone.
