Got a question about this approach to creating arrays. Can you assign indexes randomly, like assign zero, then 3, then 7, then 6, or do they have to assigned in order throughout your code? Also can you replace the value of an assigned index at any point?
@killcamike cuz people unlike me an you dont have the pacient and love to learn programing languages so they quit and go on to play their crappy video games andi know your comment is old but other people will see it so yea
when i learned java, i was told (maybe even by bucky himself ;) ) that the main difference between arrays and lists is the way of storing information. therefore arrays use a "certain amount" of space(so the final length has to be declared right at the start) whereas lists have a "changing" length (adding/deleting list elements). so whats the difference now between lists and arrays in javascript?
I have never commented here. But I have been greatly benefited by these videos. I am a Mom and with two kids at home, to brush up something I learned 5 years back is a no - easy job. And these great videos have lessened my time in self learning and be able to pick up quickly. Those who cant self study, but need to laern on their own pace, check all Bucky's tutorials. They just....Rock!!
@fanreymysterio619 Scripting languages are just subcategories of programming languages. The only difference of a scripting language from other programming languages is that its a bit more simpler and it's not a compiled language meaning it doesn't need an extra program or a compiler to run and interpret the code you just wrote.
OMG!!! this is soo easy to dynamically allocate ahahahaha. for anyone reading this and its your first language, seach dynamically allocate an array in c with google and you will appreciate how easy this is
@fanreymysterio619 Actualy, all scripting languages are programming languages also, it is just name - you can do many different things with JavaScript, not just scripts
thanks dude

@killcamike Because noobies want to learn "jQuery" before raw javaScript. Eventually they'll learn that was a mistake.
