you know, despite what ratings by well known game critics give to games like this, it all depends on your taste. Fuck what the mainstream says about this, if it makes the mood of the gameplay feel life like and the weapons are good and acting, etc. then this IS a decent game.

i played 5-6 hours so far.

i have to say that the concept is cool, the cinematic gameplay is AWESOME (civilians run and scream on the whole chaos like you are part of a movie) , but...but...

controls/gameplay are medium to BAD ,graphics are NOT like that in the trailer, are FAR worse, irritating puzzles-not hard-irritating , and again... BAD gameplay.

No wonder you can find at amazon for 15 bucks.

It leads you thorugh the gameplay as if you have no control with what happens. It felt like i was watching a movie that i had to move thorugh and click. Everything was predetermined so no replayability. The AI was basic and if you dont keep moving often npcs just keep spawning. It was dull and boring and felt pointless. An interesting story ruined by over zealous designers.

Of couse there is ups and downs on this game. Its ragdoll effects is heavy and clumsy, the creature movement is somewhat choppy. However! They did not hold back on the special effects! Arms, legs, heads and body parts can be be shredded with gunfire and you can expect plenty of blood and gore.

If you think your gonna walk into alot of zombies you are sadly mistaken, there is NO zombies in this game (Resident Evil veterans beware). All in all, makers did a decent job based on the equipment.

I recently finish the game, playing trough all the chapters in easy mode. A few things to remember while playing this game. It was based on the Ulreal3 engine which is limited compared to more advanced present engines. Overall it is fairly decent gameplay, it is stright forward and requires little to no puzzle solving on your part. However, on the base of its action side it absolutly delivers exellently! Tight quaters combat, modern weapons and plenty of corpses flying about.

this game is pretty fun, but i wudnt recommend it to anyone who isnt familier with fantasy creatures. it feels alot more satasfying to shoot somthing that you know a bit about ( or lobbing thier heads of with an axe ) if you play this game as " just another shooter" it wont be fun, if you utilise your enemies abilities ( make them do what they are renowned for, eg, a minotour smashing thru walls and bumping its head ) or killing the in a more intresting way ( hack that wolfs head off! )

This game is much better than its ratings say I picked this game up at blockbuster cuz everything else was gone and it really suprised me. IGN gave it a 2.5 but that isn't what this game should be. a 2.5 means it has nothing to offer and noone should ever buy. This game had nice creatures and werewolfs can scare you cuz of the way they hide and sneak to catch you by suprise. This game isn't anything amazing but it is decent and i would give it a 8 The only major problem is the way the guy jumps.
