Neither one of these shows is better than the other. It's funnier if you know what they are referencing, and how familiar you are with the actors. That's why I like the US version better. I assume it's the same for those who like the UK version...
I'm a Canadian. We live next to the US and are able to provide fairly accurate assessments of them. We also have strong ties to Great Britain and the Commonwealth... even have the monarchs on our money.

@tobi123man No. Greg Proops He's usually the guest on the normal US version. The fat guy is i could care less. The other two are ALWAYS on whose line. Its Colin, Ryan, Wayne, and a guest in the normal version. Its also funnier, because drew carey is on it. I say we bring back Drew Wayne and the crew and
Why are people always dissing the British Whose Line? I admit I like the American line-up better, but that's probably only because I'm more familiar with it. But I love the British's sense of humor and Clive makes me laugh more than Drew. Plus the UK version doesn't have to put up with all the freakin' censors. It's different, but if you don't like it, don't watch it. Just my opinion. :)
Aw who cares...UK or US it's still a great show though the US censors are alot more strict.--party poopers. While I like all the guys, I am a Greg Proops freak!
@Terrafissa We got Stephen Colbert on one memorable episode...long before Colbert himself was a household name, mind, but we still got Stephen Colbert!
great hoedown, but the uk version is not good. ryan and colin and greg don't seem too happy . in the american version they thought is was lots of fun but now they see it like a job.
I think the only reason I really like the US version more is because I prefer Drew. (although the UK can get away with saying practically anything on tv) :)
no they cant when i went to the uk and i was lstening to the radio if they swear on the radio they can get fired, but in america they dont care and as a fellow american u can get away with things on tv and radio very lightly
I meant on tv. Although the channel probably had something to do with it, the US version aired on abc the "family channel" lol...and yes we know Colin is Canadian.
Whose line would of never of happened if Brits weren't around and we thank America for Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie :) so each is good for their own things
Look at the good aspects rather than the bad :D
Back on topic - love this hoedown, great verses from everyone :D
just think you americans if DAN PATTERSON AND MARK LEVSON didn't make up whose line there wudt be a U.S or a UK one and u probly wont know these whose line people. we both have different humours oh yh by the way we dnt talk like pompus plp (just saying)

No offence mate but you are a fucking stereotyping idiot. Clearly you're never met a brit as we don't speak like that. I never heard anyone trying to deny that a lot of the great comedians on Whose Line? are american so why don't you just stop trying to get a rise out of people on YouTube and get a life, you pathetic little moron.
Good job, try get it throug your head that YouTube is owned by American people, so we are more then 70 percent of the dominant population, so that means we don't have to listen to you, you little ten year old.

Yeah, it was bad, but everyone involved with that is dead now, you know...unless you happen to be 260 years old...in which case I know of a museum that would LOVE to have you there.
Sorry mate, but you a twat. Most american comedians are a complete bag of shit & if it was'nt for an englishman inventing the internet there would'nt be a youtube!!!Now kindly fuck off & eat some cheese & doughnuts & drink some of your shit beer.
well done on the regurgitated insults you ignorant American, maybe later in life, after you have learned to read, write, spell, and count, you will have more success.
Americans are actually about 4.5% of the population of the planet, and those most universally stereotyped and hated people on the planet, you go as far as being this stereotype
Save your breath, he's just a typical youtube user. You cant change his mind. I respect British people a lot, and so should most Americans, because Brits formed the USA.
That really depends how you look at it. It was a British ruled colony until it revolted so you could look at it that Britain only held it back until the breaking point. But for arguments sake I will agree with you lol
I thought of what he could have said and i'm quite pleased with myself coz it only took me a minute (not as fast as them tho!)

Several UK contestants who appeared in only a few or one episodes had to sing first or second in a hoedown. A couple of them actually did okay.
In the US version, Robin William sang in duet with Wayne during his guest appearance and did fine.
