As a Dr Who fan and teacher of ancient history, this figure is one of the best in recent releases. The attention to detail of this legionaire is amazing.
There are a few problems with the paint. His uppe tunic has been painted silver, the straps are gold and a few fleshy areas are mismatched. His armour and cloak are good, as is his lower unigue. It is a nice sculpt, it just has a few paint ap problems.
@DalekGorReviews Really? I was wondering who it was based on, as I can't find a face that matches the one of this one. Is it based on someone from CO, like the series 4 Roman?
@thetimelord99 You're right, that's what they are. However, it is somewhat inaccurate that they show bronze hinges holding the Lorica Segmentata together. The Pandorica Opens took place in 102 A.D, and bronze hinges were replaced by simple rivets about 20 years earlier. Still, very accurate figure, with an Imperial Gallic I type helmet.
the clothing you called a skirt is called a tunic the armor is called the lorica segmentarta

this figure is also repainted from the roman that came with the pyrovillian
legocityrulz 1 year ago
@legocityrulz I think most of his torso armour is just the same as the FOP Roman, but most of this one is made from new parts.

The gold things are straps to fasten the armour up, they should be brown IMO, because they are leather straps.

Also - at 2:22, your Pandorica looks like the CD has a massive scratch along it?

@CardClashersHub They're just wires going around it to keep the CD on the section of the Pandorica whilst in the packaging.

This is an epic figure. It's not based on the actor who plays any of them, it's based on someone from designworks winsor.
EPIC REVIEW, as usual!
Please comment/rate my review of him! :D
Cheers mate.
