  • why is your body tucked so much, you need to release the body from a tuck format to seduce the cause of slowing down, and maintain aerodynamic.

  • The quick first tap can be dangerous if you want to reach a higher distance.

    Very simple and good explained for beginners as well.

  • Think of it as using the first "tap" to push off/get your kong started, and then finishing off with a regular kong. In other words, use the first tap to take off instead of just diving into 1 kong.

  • unnecessary first tap? i think it helps to overcome a long obstacle with less physical strain. instead of doing one huge kong, you just break it into two smaller ones.

  • I have trouble actually committing to the Kong. I still haven't done one. Maybe I should find a gym with some pads lmao.

  • @AudienceKiller66 Do monkeys first. Just incase you don't know: That's a kong except you don't jump AT the obstacle but rather start out right in front of it. You jump UP and pull yourself over the obstacle in one fluid motion.

    That'll teach you to get your knees close to your chest. Then you can start trying kongs as they are just the in-motion-version of a monkey. Instead of tucking your legs under your body you now stretch out further and have your hips higher. Maybe this helps.

  • haha yer its hard to explain mate on here but this spanish women got locked out by her like 1 year old kid and he was on the balcony and she was on the flor outside and he was trying to get to her so he could of fell or gone back in the house and pulled something off the table onto his head so luckily we were on holiday at the time cus no one was helping so i wall ran up a wall lol shimmed XD across this sky light and lazy vault over the balcony haha XD

  • who can stop you going outside with a pair of trainers? u can just say u wer climbing it as a dare or something if they catch u ;)

  • hmmm i see your point and its is a god one but my parents are still deciding if i can or i cant do parkour

  • lol, dont take my advice seriously though. just like show them the good side's to parkour. its something different, it keeps u healthy and in shape and show them that you really want 2 do it. im a kid 2 (12 years old) but luckly my parents didnt mind :D

  • im 13 i never told them about parkour and when i tell them i doubt theyl let me do it. whats worse im living in the philippines and there gonna be a workshop nearby but if i ask them they wont allow me and have a close eye on me

  • @bugworlds You can't but I've seen people monkey stuff that was chest high so if you were 8 feet tall and a very good traceur then maybe a 6ft wall is doable.
