That's because this is only the first movement of the symphony. There are 4 movements in total.

What this movement? I may just agree with you. If you mean this symphony over Schubert's others then I definitely agree!

I heard this eight years ago for the first time. I agree. No Applause? I Keep comming back. i've found no better.

My Mother's Grandparents didn't speak a word of English. I'm ashamed to say, i don't speak German. I fell upon this wonderful Allegro and it calms me. My Mother's Maiden name is Tratz. This is all i remember of what i've been taught. "Hoffenlicht,en das sukunf, das alles wille komma aus rosen". I hope that is right. If not, i appologize.
