Yes sir Madoo..I would just like to say that your contribution to reggae music internationally is much recognized and respected everywhere, but I can level with you when some people take the music and put it on the internet without permission, but maybe if poss you can turn it around and use it as a tool for more exposure and marketing. iTunes, Napster?lots of online music vendors where people need your music internationally..One Love...
I can tell you a littel about Echo as I used to live down the road from the Bionic Lawn where Stereophonic used to play. Echo was the main DJ on this sound after he left his own sound Echotone. Both Echo & Madoo performed at my high school (Priory) fundraising showcase in May 1980 at the height of "Drunken Master". Both Echo and Madoo were really cool, down to earth bredins. As a DJ, Echo was ahead of his time and always included intellignce, wit and humour in his performances. RIP Echo
@Raddics1 Respect king echo & the bionic singer madoo were a class hot i have live dancehall with stereofonic on cd echo & madoo mashin it up echo was way ahead of his time i still believe his untimely death was a set up with big john flux echo was due to a live show in dec 1980 i remember echo made welton irie yellowman toyan even ringo burro banton briggie to sister nancy use dj with echo tone ranking slackiness r.i.p
