@1625w162d - I love the song I just don't like the overlay of some tinny noise and it being called a remix (which technically it is I suppose). I have been searching through a heap of old classics that have been remixed and there is some magic stuff out there even for an old fool like me. The other day though when I was searching for more of the hard rock remixes I was struck by the sameness of all the remixes with just a doof doof over the original track with perhaps just a tweak of pace.

@1625w162d - aah yes you would be surprised at how the older we get the more interested we become. The reality is that most music evolves from an older form which is quite normal. The advent of technology has created a world where we can mix the old and new with some amazing sounds so in a sense it is an entirely new evolution. Purely as an exercise check out some beethoven remixes such as moonlight sonata and you will hear some truly incredible mixes.
