I remember watching this on TV as a kid in the 70"s.on the tv show they had some wild silvery suits and there would be flashing on the screen".anybody remember that?
I loved the Osmonds so much.....those kids could dance, those kids could play.....wish I still had their vinyl.....I had a crush on Alan Osmond and when I was 11,I was gonna take the bus to Ogden Utah to meet him *giggles*
this was the only good song the oz-tards ever did! now they'll always be known as donnie's back-up band. what a bummer. to go from this promising tune to bubble-headed -teeny-boppers who will forever be know for songs like 'puppy love' or ' go away little girl' , and everyones , song to hate "one bad apple"!!
I've always had the impression The Osmonds were a cheesy, family-friendly pop band. I don't know much about them, but while this is cheesy as fuck, that's still a bitching riff.
I wish The Osmonds had stayed in the direction they were going with "Crazy Horses", "Hold Her Tight", and "The Plan" album. I can't stomach their later disco, Donnie and Marie crap.
@lennonzappa71 you have no idea how much i agree with you! i was born in 1995 so this was years before i was born, but i love the osmonds doing all those rocky songs, i love donny so much but i dont really like the donny and marie stuff, i wish donny stayed with the osmond brothers instead of doing the show with marie :/ x
Wayne Osmond, looking very much like a Yardbirds-era Jimmy Page, circa 1967. All he needs to do is slap a mirror and some DayGlo paint on that Telecaster he's playing.
@lennonzappa71 I never noticed that before..Wayne does kinda resemble Jimmy a little bit...damn..er..dang( Osmond video after all.. gotta watch the language)
The first time that I heard this song, back in the '70's, the beginning part of the song scared me to death until I got used to it!! CRAZY, hug?! I'm used to it now!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
This is a rockin tune.. loved this band as a kid. Sweet post! The clothes, wild dance moves (as Steve said), and Donnys singing is fab :) Thanks Tone xo
Love Alan's crazy dance moves and the clothes...phew! How many of todays 'boybands' are multi-instrumentalists who write and play their own tunes... none!
I tell what Steve...if that aint the best flare extensions you ever seen I'll eat my head haha I totally agree with ya...their best song by far, Cheers Steve
if anyone makes fun of the osmonds, direct them to this song-it kicks ass!

@whuddafugger The Osmonds are far more talented than JB. At least they could play their instruments and write their own music.
